Abstract

A water jet propulsion boat has a water jet propulsion device in a body, and is propelled by the water jet propulsion device. An electric unit having a waterproof structure and being separate from the body can be removably disposed in a storage section without using any tools. The storage section is defined by a recess provided in the body and being open upward.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A water jet propulsion boat comprising a hull, a water jet propulsion device disposed in the hull and configured to propel the boat, an electric unit having a waterproof structure and being separate from the hull, the electric unit being configured to be connectable to and removable from a storage section without using any tools, the storage section being defined by a recess provided in the body and opening upwardly.

2 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the storage section also serves as a storage box for holding baggage and small articles, and wherein the electric unit is mounted in an opening of the storage box.

3 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the storage section is provided between steering handlebars and a seat of the boat.

4 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the storage section is provided at a rear part of steering handlebars of the boat.

5 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 additionally comprising a battery pack configured to supply power to the electric unit.

6 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 additionally comprising a first power supply connector provided at a bottom part of the electric unit and a second power supply connector provided at a bottom part of the storage section, wherein the first and second power connectors are arranged such that as the electric unit is received in the storage section, the first and second power supply connectors are connected to each other.

7 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the electric unit comprises a player configured to output an audio signal, a speaker disposed on the top face of the electric unit, and an amplifier disposed in the electric unit and being configured to amplify the audio signal and output the amplified signal to the speaker.

8 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 additionally comprising a vibration-proof material provided between the electric unit and the storage section.

9 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 7 , wherein the player is removably attached to the electric unit via a bracket.

10 . The water jet propulsion boat according to claim 1 , wherein the electric unit is configured to float on water.

11 . A watercraft comprising a hull, a propulsion device supported by the hull and configured to propel the hull, an operator's area disposed in a portion of the hull, a holder recess defined
