LED Illumination Apparatus and Card-Type LED Illumination Source
Abstract
An LED illumination includes an insertable and removable LED illumination source having a feeder terminal on one surface of a substrate on which an LED has been mounted; a thermal conductor member, which contacts with a back surface of the substrate on which the LED is not present; at least one connector to be connected to the feeder terminal; and a lighting drive circuit to be electrically connected to the LED illumination source by way of the connector, wherein, in the LED illumination source, a center of the substrate is shifted from a center of a light outgoing region of the substrate where the mounted LED is located.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An LED illumination apparatus comprising:
an insertable and removable LED illumination source having a feeder terminal on one surface of a substrate on which an LED has been mounted; a thermal conductor member, which contacts with a back surface of the substrate on which the LED is not present; at least one connector to be connected to the feeder terminal; and a lighting drive circuit to be electrically connected to the LED illumination source by way of the connector, wherein, in the LED illumination source, a center of the substrate is shifted from a center of a light outgoing region of the substrate where the mounted LED is located.
2 . The LED illumination apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the LED illumination source includes an optical reflecting portion for reflecting light that has been emitted from the LED, and wherein the center of the substrate is shifted from that of the light outgoing region of the substrate, where the mounted LED is located, by making the substrate have a bigger size than the optical reflecting portion.
3 . An LED illumination source comprising:
a substrate; an LED, which has been mounted on one surface of the substrate; and a feeder terminal, which is arranged at one end of the one surface of the substrate, where the LED has been mounted, so as to be connected to a connector of an LED illumination apparatus, to which the LED illumination source is attached, wherein in the LED illumination source, a center of the substrate is shifted from a center of a light outgoing region of the substrate, where the mounted LED is located.
4 . The LED illumination source of claim 3 , further comprising an optical reflecting portion for reflecting light that has been emitted from the LED, wherein the center of the substrate is shifted from that of the light outgoing region of the substrate, where the mounted LED is located, by making the substrate have a bigger size than that the optical reflecting portion.
5 . The LED illumination source of claim 3 , wherein the substrate has a rectangular shape with rounded corners.
6 . The LED illumination source of claim 3 , wherein a portion of the substrate includes at least one of a notch, a mark, a recess or a protrusion.
7 . The LED illumination source of claim 3 , wherein the LED has been directly flip-chip bonded to the substrate.
8 . The LED illumination source of claim 3 , wherein the LED is built in as a surface mount device or a chip element.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
