Abstract

A floor pad includes: a water-drainable base layer having an anti-slip bottom surface, a top surface opposite to the anti-slip bottom surface, and a plurality of through-holes that extend from the anti-slip bottom surface to the top surface; and a fibrous layer secured to the top surface of the water-drainable base layer. The fibrous layer includes fibers that are entangled together so as to form a plurality of fluid passages which are in fluid communication with the through-holes in the base layer.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A floor pad, comprising
a water-drainable baselayer having an anti-slip bottom surface, a top surface opposite to said anti-slip bottom surface, and a plurality of through-holes that extend from said anti-slip bottom surface to said top surface; and a fibrous layer secured to said top surface of said water-drainable base layer and including fibers that are entangled together so as to form a plurality of fluid passages which are in fluid communication with said through-holes in said base layer.

2 . The floor pad of claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of grooves that are formed in said water-drainable base layer and that are indented from said anti-slip bottom surface, each of said grooves having two ends that are in fluid communication with two adjacent ones of said through-holes, respectively.

3 . The floor pad of claim 1 , wherein said water-drainable base layer is made from a water-repellent foam material selected from the group consisting of polyurethane (PU), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA).

4 . The floorpad of claim 1 , wherein said fibrous layer is made from a non-woven fabric.
