Abstract
Compositions and methods for suppressing the immune system of a mammal using ubiquitin and derivatives and analogs thereof
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 16 . (canceled)
. A pharmaceutical composition, comprising ubiquitin and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
. A method of treating or preventing sepsis or endotoxic shock in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of ubiquitin, thereby treating or preventing sepsis or endotoxic shock in the mammal.
. The method of claim 18 , wherein the mammal is human.
. The method of claim 18 , wherein said administering is effected intravenously.
. The method of claim 18 , wherein said effective amount is between 0.01 and 10 mg/kg body weight.
. A method of treating or preventing pulmonary failure in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of ubiquitin, thereby treating or preventing pulmonary failure in the mammal.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said mammal is human.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said administering is effected intravenously.
. The method of claim 22 wherein said effective amount is between 0.01 and 10 mg/kg body weight.
. A method of inducing immunosuppression in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of lubiquitin, thereby inducing immunosuppression in the mammal.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said mammal is human.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said administering is effected intravenously.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said effective amount is between 0.01 and 10 mg/kg body weight.
. A method of treating or preventing a Tumor Necrosis Factor (TNF) mediated disease in a mammal, comprising administering to the mammal an effective amount of ubiquitin, thereby treating or preventing the TNF mediated disease in the mammal.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said mammal is human.
. The method of claim 22 , wherein said administering is effected intravenously.
. The method of claim 22 wherein said effective amount is between 0.01 and 10 mg/kg body weight.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
