Abstract
A scraper blade for a paint scraper intended for removing paint from a surface includes at least one scraping edge. The scraping edge is divided into at least two abutting portions extending along the scraping edge, which, upon abutting scraping action, extend transversely to the direction of scraping, each abutting portion being convex in the plane of the scraping edge, whereby an effective scraping effect is provided.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 7 . (canceled)
8 . A scraper blade for paint scraper intended for removing paint from a surface, comprising at least one scraping edge divided into at least two abutting portions extending along the scraping edge, which abutting portions, upon abutting scraping action, extend transversely to the direction of scraping, each abutting portion being convex in the plane of the scraping edge.
9 . A scraper blade according to claim 8 , wherein each abutting portion is continuous in the plane of the scraping edge, whereas each abutting portion extends continuously along a continuous curve.
10 . A scraper blade according to claim 8 , wherein the scraping edge is wave shaped in the plane of the scraping edge, and each abutting portion forms a part of a crest of the wave shape.
11 . A scraper blade according to claim 8 , wherein the longitudinal extensions of the abutting portions are of different respective lengths.
12 . A scraper blade according to claim 8 , wherein each abutting portion, upon abutment with a surface, makes an angle with the surface, in the plane of the scraping edge, which is less than 90°.
13 . A scraper blade according to claim 12 , wherein the angle is less than 30°.
14 . A scraper blade according to claim 12 , wherein the angle is less than 15°.
15 . A paint scraper for removing paint from a surface, comprising a handle carrying a scraper blade according to claim 8.Cited by (0)
