System and method for offering multiple products

Abstract

A system and method for a supplier to offer multiple products to a first person and multiple pre-owned products to a second person is disclosed.

1 . A method, comprising: 
 offering, in accordance with an agreement between a supplier of a first product and an initial purchaser of the first product, the initial purchaser an opportunity to acquire a second product at least in part in exchange for a surrendering of the first product to the supplier;    determining an acceptance, by the initial purchaser, of the offer;    determining, based on one or more terms of the agreement, at least one transaction term associated with the acquiring of the second product by the initial purchaser; and    providing the second product to the initial purchaser in accordance with the at least one transaction term.    
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the offering is triggered by a receipt of a query from a subsequent purchaser that has expressed an interest in the first product.  
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 2 , further comprising: 
 providing the first product to the subsequent purchaser.    
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the acceptance is determined based on the agreement.  
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the acceptance is determined based on a receipt of an indication from the initial purchaser.  
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the transaction term comprises a financing term based on the term of the agreement.  
     
     
         7 . A system, comprising: 
 a processor; and    a storage device in communication with said processor and storing instructions adapted to be executed by said processor to:    offer, in accordance with an agreement between a supplier of a first product and an initial purchaser of the first product, the initial purchaser an opportunity to acquire a second product at least in part in exchange for a surrendering of the first product to the supplier;    determine an acceptance, by the initial purchaser, of the offer;    determine, based on one or more terms of the agreement, at least one transaction term associated with the acquiring of the second product by the initial purchaser; and    provide the second product to the initial purchaser in accordance with the at least one transaction term.    
     
     
         8 . A medium storing instructions adapted to be executed by a processor to: 
 offer, in accordance with an agreement between a supplier of a first product and an initial purchaser of the first product, the initial purchaser an opportunity to acquire a second product at least in part in exchange for a surrendering of the first product to the supplier;    determine an acceptance, by the initial purchaser, of the offer;    determine, based on one or more terms of the agreement, at least one transaction term associated with the acquiring of the second product by the initial purchaser; and    provide the second product to the initial purchaser in accordance with the at least one transaction term.
