Method for the Cutting of Paper Products

Abstract

In a method for the cutting of paper products, the paper products are trimmed at at least one side in a cutting apparatus and are subsequently ground.

1 . A method for the cutting of paper products, comprising: 
 trimming the paper products at at least one side in a cutting apparatus; and    grinding the at least one side of the paper products following the trimming in order to refine a trim surface of the at least one side.    
   
   
       2 . A method in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the paper products are held continuously in a pressed together state at the start of the trimming up to the end of the grinding.  
   
   
       3 . A method in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the paper products are conveyed during the grinding.  
   
   
       4 . A method in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein the paper products are ground using a grinding wheel, which is oriented slightly obliquely to the at least one side.  
   
   
       5 . A method in accordance with  claim 1 , wherein an extraction of grinding dust takes place during the grinding.  
   
   
       6 . A grinding apparatus, comprising: 
 a conveying device ( 10 ,  11 ), with which paper products (P) can be transported along a conveying path;    a pressing device ( 12 ,  14 ), which is provided in a region of the conveying path and with which the conveyed paper products (P) are pressed together at at least one side during transport; and    a grinding device ( 20 ) that is provided in a region of the pressing device ( 12 ,  14 ) and with which the paper products (P) are ground in a region of the at least one side.    
   
   
       7 . A grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , wherein the grinding device ( 20 ) has a grinding wheel ( 22 ), which is orientated slightly obliquely to the conveying path.  
   
   
       8 . A grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , wherein the grinding device ( 20 ) has a grinding wheel ( 22 ), which can be adjusted in a direction of the paper product (P) to be ground, in particular by means of a spring.  
   
   
       9 . A grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , wherein the grinding device ( 20 ) has at least two grinding wheels ( 22 ), which are mounted on a changing device.  
   
   
       10 . A grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , wherein a cutting device is provided in a conveying direction in front of the grinding device ( 20 ) and the paper products (P) are trimmed by the cutting device in the region of the pressed together side.  
   
   
       11 . A grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , wherein a protective housing is provided, which prevents a spreading of grinding dust.  
   
   
       12 . A grinding tool for a grinding apparatus in accordance with  claim 6 , comprising: 
 a grinding disk ( 26 ), on which a grinding wheel ( 22 ) provided with holes is fastened by means of a clamping ring ( 24 ), with a plurality of elongate passages ( 27 ) being provided in the grinding disk ( 26 ), through which an extraction of grinding dust can take place.    
   
   
       13 . A grinding tool in accordance with  claim 12 , wherein the passages ( 27 ) are curved in a plan view and extend from a radially inner end (A) to a radially outer end (B).
