Abstract

An information processing apparatus including: a display that is capable of displaying moving image data in a full screen mode; a first signal processing section that generates a signal for forming the moving image data to be displayed on the display; a second signal processing section that executes image quality processing for the signal generated by the first signal processing section; a determination section that determines whether or not a display mode to display the moving image data is the full screen mode based on a relationship between a screen size of the moving image data and a screen size of the display; and a control section that enables the signal subjected to the image quality processing by the second signal processing section to be output to the display when the determination section determines that the display mode to display the moving image data is the full screen mode.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 - 14 . (canceled)

15 . An information processing apparatus for displaying moving image data on a display in one of a full screen mode and a window mode, the information processing apparatus comprising:
a first signal processing section configured to execute image quality processing for a signal for forming the moving image data to be displayed on the display; and a control section configured to enable the signal to be output to the display without subjecting the image quality processing when a display mode to display the moving image data is the window mode.

16 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 15 , wherein the control section enables the signal subjected to the image quality processing to be output to the display when the display mode is the full screen mode.

17 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 15 , further comprising a determination section configured to determine the display mode based on a relationship between a screen size of the moving image data and screen size of the display.

18 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 17 , further comprising:
a memory for securing a surface, which has a screen size specified from a program for reproducing the moving image data, when the moving image data is drawn, wherein the determination section compares a screen size of the surface secured in the memory and the screen size of the display.

19 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 17 , further comprising:
a memory for securing a surface, which has a screen size specified from a program for reproducing the moving image data, where the moving image data is drawn; and changing section that changes the screen size of the moving image data drawn on the surface, wherein the determination section compares the screen size of the display with the screen size of the moving image data changed by the changing section.

20 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 15 , further comprising a second signal processing section that generates the signal for forming the moving image data to be displayed on the display.

21 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 20 , further comprising an output section that selectively outputs one of the signal output from the first signal processing section and the signal output from the second signal processing section to the display.

22 . The information processing apparatus according to claim 21 , wherein the control section controls the output section based on the display mode to display the moving image data on the display based on the display mode.

23 . A display control method for controlling an information processing apparatus capable of displaying moving image data on a display in one of a full screen mode and a window mode and executing image quality processing for a signal for forming the moving image data to be displayed on the display, the display control method comprising:
generating a signal for forming the moving image data to be displayed on the display; and outputting the signal to the display without executing the image quality processing when a display mode to display the moving image data is the window mode.

24 . The display control method according to claim 23 , further comprising:
outputting the signal subjected to the image quality processing when the display mode is the full screen mode.

25 . The display control method according to claim 23 , further comprising:
determining the display mode based on a relationship between a screen size of the moving image data and a screen size of the display.

26 . The display control method according to claim 25 , wherein said determining the display mode comprising:
comparing the screen size of the display with a screen size of a surface where the moving image data is drawn, the surface that is secured in a memory and has a screen size specified from a program for reproducing the moving image data.

27 . The display control method according to claim 25 , further comprising:
changing the screen size of the moving image data drawn on a surface that is secured in a memory and has a screen size specified from a program for reproducing the moving image data, wherein said determining the display mode comprises comparing the screen size of the display with the screen size of the moving image data changed by the changing section.
