Abstract

An inflatable mattress has a body and a coverlet. The body is hollow, is inflatable and has a top, a sidewall and at least one first engaging member attached to the sidewall of the body. The coverlet is mounted detachably on and covers the body and has at least one second engaging member attached to the coverlet and corresponding respectively to and detachably engaged respectively with the at least one first engaging member on the body. The coverlet is mounted tightly on the body and would not be shifted by persons' movement on the inflatable mattress.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . An inflatable mattress comprising:
 a body being hollow, being inflatable and having a top, a sidewall being annular and at least one first engaging member attached to the sidewall of the body at a distance from the top; and
 a coverlet mounted detachably on and covering the body and having at least one second engaging member attached to the coverlet and corresponding respectively to and detachably engaged respectively with the at least one first engaging member on the sidewall of the body.

         2 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 1 , wherein:
 the body further has a top, a bottom and a sidewall being annular; the at least one first engaging member is attached to the sidewall of the body; the coverlet further has a top cushion located above the top of the body and a skirt being annular, extending from the outer edge of the top cushion and having an outer edge; and the at least one second member is attached to the skirt of the coverlet.

         3 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the top cushion is resilient and has an internal chamber defined in the top cushion and a fill made of fiber and filled in the internal chamber.

         4 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one first engaging member is at least one hook mounted on the sidewall of the body; and the at least one second engaging member is at least one loop mounted on the skirt, detachably mounted respectively around and hooked respectively by the at least one hook on the sidewall of the body. A:

         5 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the body further has at least one recess members being hollow, mounted in the sidewall of the body and corresponding respectively to the at least one first engaging member, and each recess member has an inner surface; the at least one first engaging member is at least one hook mounted on the inner surface in a corresponding recess member; and the at least one second engaging member is at least one loop extending respectively in the at least one recess member and detachably mounted respectively around and hooked respectively by the at least one hook.

         6 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the sidewall has four side surfaces and four corners; the at least one first engaging member is four fork-shaped hooks located respectively on the corners of the body, and each fork-shaped hook has a notch defined in the fork-shaped hook; and the at least one second engaging members are four bolt-shaped fasteners detachably hooked respectively by the fork-shaped hooks, and each bolt-shaped fastener has
 a shaft extending through the notch in a corresponding fork-shaped hook and having a distal end; and
 an enlarged head formed on the distal end of the shaft and hooked by the corresponding fork-shaped hook.

         7 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one first engaging member is at least one recess member, and each recess member is hollow and has
 an opening having an inner edge; and
 two opposite clipping members being flexible and mounted on the inner edge in the opening, and each clipping member having a saw-tooth-shaped clipping edge, wherein the saw-tooth-shaped clipping edges of the clipping members face each other; and
   the at least one second engaging member of the coverlet corresponds respectively to and is at least one part of the skirt of the coverlet stuffed respectively in the at least one recess member, and each part of the skirt is clipped and bitten by the saw-tooth-shaped clipping edges of the clipping members on a corresponding recess member.

         8 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one first engaging member is a pocket being annular and hollow, mounted around the sidewall and having a lower opening; and the at least one second engaging member is a thickened hem being annular, attached to the outer edge of the skirt of the coverlet and stuffed detachably in the pocket through the lower opening.

         9 . The inflatable mattress as claimed in claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one first engaging member is a first zipper half mounted on the sidewall of the body; and the at least one second engaging member a second zipper half mounted on the outer edge of the skirt of the coverlet and engaged detachably with the first zipper half through a zipper slider mounted slidably on the first and second zipper halves and capable of detaching from one of the first and second zipper halves.

         10 . The inflatable mattress as claim in claim 2 , wherein:
 the at least one first engaging member is four recess members mounted respectively in the corners of the body, and each recess member has
 a bracket mounted in one of the corners of the body ( 2 ) and having a recess defined in the bracket and an outside opening communicating with the recess and having an outer edge;
 a stationary clipping member mounted on the outer edge of the outside opening and having an inside surface and multiple teeth formed on the inside surface at intervals;
 a movable clipping member mounted pivotally on the outer edge of the outside opening, engaged selectively with the stationary clipping member to close the recess and having an outside surface and multiple teeth formed on the outside surface of the movable clipping member at intervals and selectively engaged respectively with the intervals between the teeth on the stationary clipping member; and
 a biasing member mounted between the bracket and the movable clipping member and biasing the movable clipping member to be engaged with the stationary clipping member; and
   the at least one second engaging member of the coverlet is four parts of the skirt of the coverlet corresponding respectively to and stuffed respectively in the recess members, and each part of the skirt is clipped and bitten by the teeth of the stationary and movable clipping members on a corresponding recess member.
