Apparatus, system and method for storing articles on a movable frame
Abstract
An apparatus, a system and a method store articles on a movable frame. A base has exterior walls extending from a top surface of the base to form a shelf and/or a storage rack. Mounts secure to the exterior walls of the base to secure the base to the movable frame. A first portion of the base has interior walls extending from the top surface of the base to form compartments. A second portion of the base has a front wall and a back wall secured to the exterior walls to form a drawer. The shelf, the compartments and the drawer store the articles. The movable frame is located on a lifting device, such as, for example, a scissor lift. As a result, the apparatus and the system provide storage for the articles on the lifting device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An apparatus for storing articles, the apparatus comprising:

2 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
a third base connected to the second base wherein the second base is positioned between the first base and the third base and further wherein the third base has exterior walls connected to the exterior walls of the second base.
3 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
a third base positioned on the first base wherein the third base has interior walls extending from the third base to define compartments.
4 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
a third base having a planar surface wherein the third base is connected to the second base wherein the third base is movable with respect to the second base.
5 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
interior walls extending from the top surface of the first base wherein the interior walls define compartments within the interior of the first base.
6 . The apparatus of claim 1 further comprising:
compartments connected to the top surface of the first base wherein the compartments have a base having an angled surface.
7 . A system for storing articles, the system comprising:
a movable frame wherein the movable frame has a width defined between a first end and a second end; a base connected to the movable frame wherein the base has a width defined between a distal end and a proximate end wherein the distal end is secured to the first end of the movable frame wherein the proximate end is secured to the second end of the movable frame wherein the base has a first planar side and a second planar side wherein the first planar side is opposite the second planar side wherein exterior walls connect to the movable frame wherein the exterior walls extend from the movable frame to the first planar side and further wherein the base has interior walls extending from the first planar side to define a compartment; a first shelf connected to the exterior walls wherein the first shelf is connected to the second planar side of the first base wherein the first shelf has a top side and a bottom side wherein the top side is opposite the bottom side wherein the top side is adjacent to the second planar side wherein the top side of the first shelf is located a first distance from the second planar side of the base; and a second shelf connected to the exterior walls wherein the first shelf is located between the first base and the second shelf wherein the second shelf is located a second distance from the bottom side of the first shelf.
8 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
mounts attached to the exterior walls wherein the mounts connect the first base to the movable frame.
9 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
a drawer positioned on the first shelf wherein the drawer has walls defining an interior wherein the articles are stored within the interior of the drawer.
10 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
a drawer positioned on the first shelf wherein the drawer has exterior walls defining an interior wherein the drawer has interior walls defining compartments.
11 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
walls extending from the first shelf wherein the walls connect to the exterior walls to define an interior of the first shelf.
12 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
tracks connected to the exterior walls of the base wherein the interior walls are secured to the exterior walls via the tracks.
13 . The system of claim 7 further comprising:
interior walls extending from the top side of the first shelf to define compartments.
14 . A method for storing articles on a movable frame wherein the movable frame has a width defined between a first surface and a second surface, the method comprising the steps of:
providing a first base having a top surface and a bottom surface wherein the top surface is opposite the bottom surface wherein the first base has a width defined between a first end and a second end; securing the first end of the first base to the movable frame at the first surface; securing the second end of the first base to the movable frame at the second surface; connecting exterior walls to the first base wherein the exterior walls extend from the top surface of the first base at the first end and at the second end wherein the exterior walls define an interior of the first base; securing a second base to grooves in the exterior walls wherein the second base has a length defined between a front end and a rear end wherein the grooves extend the length along the exterior walls from a distal end to a proximate end wherein the second base is movable with respect to the first base from the distal end to the proximate end of the grooves; and connecting compartments to the exterior walls wherein the compartments have a base and walls defining an interior of the compartments wherein the second base is located between the first base and the compartments wherein the articles are stored in the compartments.
15 . The method of claim 14 further comprising the step of:
securing the exterior walls to the movable frame via mounts.
16 . The method of claim 14 further comprising the step of:
detaching the compartments from the exterior walls.
17 . The method of claim 14 further comprising the step of:
securing additional walls to the interior of the compartments.
18 . The method of claim 14 further comprising the step of:
