Human pellino polypeptides

Abstract

There are disclosed novel polypeptides referred to as Pellino polypeptides, as well as fragments thereof, including immunogenic peptides. DNAs encoding such polypeptides as well as methods of using such DNAs and polypeptides are also disclosed.

1 . An isolated antibody that binds to a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:8.  
     
     
         2 . The antibody of claim  54  wherein the antibody is a monoclonal antibody.  
     
     
         3 . The antibody of claim  55  wherein the antibody is a human antibody.  
     
     
         4 . The antibody of claim  55  wherein the antibody is a humanized antibody.  
     
     
         5 . An isolated antibody that inhibits the activity of a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:8.  
     
     
         6 . A method for inhibiting NF-kB-dependent transcription comprising providing at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a polypeptide of SEQ ID NO:8 and agonists of said polypeptide.
