Abstract
The invention refers to the use of O-(3-piperidino-2-hydroxypropyl)nicotinic amidoxime or a pharmaceutically suitable acid addition salt thereof for the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition that restores and/or enhances the activity of the neuronal nitric oxide synthase enzyme.
