Human data management
Abstract
The present invention discloses methods and systems for managing data in user-centric environment. In this environment an entity is authorized to receive user data based on the relationship between the entity and a user. A user provides message data for communication to a selected entity by one or more communication channels. Based on privileges assigned to the entity, user data may be retrieved, including a contact method for the entity. In addition a communication template is retrieved based on the communication channel. By populating the template with the first data and the user data; a communication is created and transmitted to the selected entity using the communication method.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method for managing data in which an entity is authorized by a user to receive user data based on a relationship between the entity and the user, the method comprising:
providing first data for transmission to the entity by one or more communication channels; retrieving, if authorized by privileges assigned to the entity by the user, user data including a contact method for the entity; retrieving, based on the communication channel, a template selected from a plurality of predefined templates; creating a communication by populating the template with the first data and the user data; and transmitting the communication to the entity using the retrieved contact method.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein retrieving a template further comprises:
selecting the template based on the contact method.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein transmitting the communication further comprises:
transmitting the communication using at least one communication channel identified by the contact method defined for the entity.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising: assigning to the entity a relationship class.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the relationships class includes one of the following: a private, personal or public.
6 . The method of claim 4 , further comprising:
assigning default privileges to the entity based on the assigned relationship class.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein privileges include at least one of the following: read, read-only, write, erase, confirmation required, and no confirmation required.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein user data is at least one of the following: contact data, calendar data, payment data, accounts data, contract data, public data and archive data.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the contact method is selected from at least one of the following: network transfer, electronic mail, short messenger service, multimedia messenger service, instant messenger service, hand-carried mail, facsimile, telegram, broadcast, wireless, and telephone.
10 . A computer-readable medium containing instructions to configure a processor to perform a method for managing data in which an entity is authorized by a user to receive user data based on a relationship between the entity and the user, the method comprising:
providing first data for transmission to the entity by one or more communication channels; retrieving, if authorized by privileges assigned to the entity by the user, user data including a contact method for the entity; retrieving, based on the communication channel, a template selected from a plurality of predefined templates; creating a communication by populating the template with the first data and the user data; and transmitting the communication to the entity using the retrieved contact method.
11 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein retrieving a template further comprises:
selecting the template based on the contact method.
12 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein transmitting the communication further comprises:
transmitting the communication using at least one communication channel identified by the contact method defined for the entity.
13 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising:
assigning to the entity a relationship class.
14 . The computer-readable medium of claim 13 , wherein the relationship class includes one of the following: a private, personal or public.
15 . The computer-readable medium of claim 13 , further comprising:
assigning default privileges to the entity based on the assigned relationship class.
16 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein privileges include at least one of the following: read, read-only, write, erase, confirmation required, and no confirmation required.
17 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein user data is at least one of the following: contact data, calendar data, payment data, accounts data, contract data, public data and archive data.
18 . The computer-readable medium of claim 10 , wherein the contact method is selected from at least one of the following: network transfer, electronic mail, short messenger service, multimedia messenger service, instant messenger service, hand-carried mail, facsimile, telegram, broadcast, wireless, and telephone.
19 . A system for managing data in which an entity is authorized by a user to receive user data based on a relationship between the entity and the user, the system comprising:
means for providing first data for transmission to the entity by one or more communication channels; means for retrieving, if authorized by privileges assigned to the entity by the user, user data including a contact method for the entity; means for retrieving, based on the communication channel, a template selected from a plurality of predefined templates; means for creating a communication by populating the template with the first data and the user data; and means for transmitting the communication to the entity using the retrieved contact method.
20 . The system of claim 19 , further comprising:
means for assigning privileges to the entity based on the type of relationship between the user and the entity, wherein the types of relationships include one of the following: private, personal or public.Cited by (0)
