Abstract
A glass composition for a plasma display panel (PDP) and its fabrication. method are disclosed. The composition, comprising a ZnO—B 2 O 3 group and alkaline earth metal oxide, is environment-friendly, has a high discharge efficiency and is used as various PDP dielectric materials. The fabrication method allows to compose the low melting point unleaded non-alkali glass composition at a low cost.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A glass composition of a PDP comprising:
10˜40 mol % of ZnO; 10˜40 mol % of B 2 O 3 ; 10˜25 mol % of alkaline earth metal oxide, wherein a ratio of ZnO and B 2 O 3 is 0.5˜1.5; and to less than 3.2 mol % and greater than 7.5 mol % to less than or equal to 15 mol % of Bi 2 O 3 .
2 . A dielectric composition of a PDP comprising:
10˜40 mol % of ZnO and B 2 O 3 having a ratio of 0.5˜1.5; 10˜25 mol % of alkaline earth metal oxide; and 1 to less than 3.2 mol % and greater than 7.5 mol % to less than or equal to 15 mol % of Bi 2 O 3 , wherein the dielectric composition is included in at least one of an isolation wall, an upper dielectric layer, a lower dielectric layer and a seal material of the PDP.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
