Abstract
Faller bar for chain drafting systems The claim is for a faller bar ( 1 ) with a support bar ( 2 ) and a casing ( 4 ) surrounding the same, and also for a number of pins ( 3 ) arranged adjacent to each other, wherein the support bar ( 2 ) has a diameter (d) of 5.9 mm to 6.1 mm and the casing ( 4 ) has a thin-walled zone ( 4 a ) having a wall thickness (b) of 1.4 mm to 1.8 mm.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 - 6 . (canceled)
7 . A faller bar, comprising:
a support bar having a diameter of 5.9 mm to 6.1 mm; a casing surrounding said support bar, said casing having a thin-walled zone with a wall thickness of 1.4 mm to 1.8 mm; and a number of pins disposed adjacent to each other and next to said casing.
8 . The faller bar according to claim 7 , wherein said support bar has an under side and said thin-walled zone being on said underside opposite to said pins and extends at least over half a circumference of said support bar.
9 . The faller bar according to claim 7 , wherein:
said support bar has a longitudinal axis; and each of said pins has a longitudinal axis, a distance between said longitudinal axis of each of said pins in relation to said longitudinal axis of said support bar is greater than 2.15 mm.
10 . The faller bar according to claim 9 , wherein said distance is between 2.6 mm and 2.9 mm.
11 . The faller bar according to claim 9 , wherein said distance is 2.75 mm.
12 . A chain drafting system for a textile machine, the chain drafting system comprising:
at least two transport chains each having a number of faller bars, each of said faller bars including:
a support bar having a diameter of 5.9 mm to 6.1 mm;
a casing surrounding said support bar, said casing having a thin-walled zone with a wall thickness of 1.4 mm to 1.8 mm; and
a number of pins disposed adjacent to each other and next to said casing.
13 . The chain drafting system according to claim 12 ,
wherein said support bar has a longitudinal axis, a distance between said longitudinal axis of two adjacent said support bar of said faller bars defining a chain spacing being 9.525 mm; wherein each of said pins has a pin longitudinal axis; and further comprising a delivery width being reduced in a direction of a take-off roller by an amount corresponding to a given distance between said longitudinal axis of each of said pins to said longitudinal axis of said support bar.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
