Abstract

The present invention provides a garbage can including a can base, an outer can body, an inner can body, a cover, a treadle, a pivotable connecting element and a link mechanism. The outer can body has an upper opening and combined with the can base. The inner can body is received in the outer can body. The cover is provided above the outer can body and covers the upper opening of the outer can body. The treadle is connected to the outer can body. The pivotable connecting element includes a first connecting part connected to the cover, a second connecting part connected to the outer can body and a pivot connecting the first connecting part and the second connecting part. The link mechanism has one end connected to the treadle and the other end connected to the first connecting part of the pivotable connecting element.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A garbage can, comprising:
a can base; an outer can body having an upper opening and combined with said can base; an inner can body received in said outer can body; a cover provided above said outer can body and covering said upper opening of said outer can body; a treadle connected to said outer can body; a pivotable connecting element, including a first connecting part connected to said cover, a second connecting part connected to said outer can body and a pivot connecting said first connecting part and said second connecting part; and a link mechanism having one end connected to said treadle and the other end connected to said first connecting part of said pivot.

2 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a first holding handle pivotably connecting said inner can body.

3 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a second holding handle pivotably connecting said second connecting part of said pivotable connecting element.

4 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said link mechanism comprises a pulling rod and a pushing rod.

5 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 4 , wherein a curved portion and a L-shaped portion are formed on one end of said pushing rod of said link mechanism.

6 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a plurality of holes are provided on said inner can body.

7 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a hook part through which said pulling rod passes is provided on said can base.

8 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 5 , wherein a hole through which said curved portion of said pushing rod passes is formed on said external can body.

9 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said pushing rod of said link mechanism is connected to said treadle such that an angle contained between said treadleand said outer can body is less than 90 degrees.

       10 . A garbage can, comprising:
a can base; an outer can body having an upper opening and combined with said can base; an inner can body provided with a plurality of holes and received in said outer can body; a cover provided above said outer can body and covering said upper opening of said outer can body; a treadle connected to said outer can body; a pivotable connecting element, including a first connecting part connected to said cover, a second connecting part connected to said outer can body and a pivot connecting said first connecting part and said second connecting part; a second holding handle pivotably connected to said second connecting part of said pivotable connecting element; and a link mechanism comprising a pulling rod and a pushing rod interconnected each other, one end of said pulling rod connected to said treadle and one end of said pushing rod connected to said second connecting part of said pivotable connecting element, wherein said pushing rod of said link mechanism is connected to said treadle such that an angle contained between said treadle and said outer can body is less than 90 degrees.

11 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 10 , further comprising a first holding handle pivotably connecting said inner can body.

12 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 10 , wherein a curved portion and an L-shaped portion are formed on one end of said pushing rod of said link mechanism.

13 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 10 , wherein a hook portion through which said pulling rod passes is provided on said can base.

14 . The garbage can as claimed in claim 12 , wherein a hole through which said curved portion of said pushing rod passes is formed on said outer can body.
