Abstract

A tooth whitening substance formed into a thin layer is provided. The tooth whitening substance includes a polyox resin and a tooth whitening active. The polyox resin adheres the thin layer to a plurality of teeth for a sufficient time to allow the tooth whitening active to act upon the plurality of teeth.

1 . A system for bleaching a plurality of upper teeth, the teeth having facial, lingual, and incisal surfaces, comprising: 
 a) a plurality of tooth bleaching products, each tooth bleaching product comprising a substrate and a tooth bleaching composition, wherein the substrate consists essentially of a flexible film that is sized to cover the facial, lingual, and incisal surfaces of a plurality of teeth, wherein the flexible film adhesively attaches to the facial and lingual surfaces of the plurality of teeth during use and wherein the flexible film is conformable to interstitial tooth spaces during use;    b) the tooth bleaching composition comprising a tooth bleaching active; and    c) wherein the system comprises a sufficient number of the tooth bleaching products to apply a new flexible film once a day for between about 7 days and about 14 days.
