Abstract

Provided is a solubility-controllable compound being soluble in a solvent due to a solvent-philic group thereof, of which solubility in the solvent is irreversibly lowered when the group is removed by retro-Diels-Alder reaction.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for forming an organic semiconductor film, comprising steps of:
applying onto a base material a solution containing a porphyrin compound having four bicyclo[2.2.2]octadiene skeletons each including a bridging ethylene moiety; and inducing retro-Diels-Alder reaction in the bicyclo skeletons to thereby convert the porphyrin compound to an organic semiconductor.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein at least one of the bicyclo skeletons has a polar group containing at least any one of an oxygen atom, a nitrogen atom, and a sulfur atom.
