Claims
Abstract
An insert and envelope assembly including an envelope including a flap portion, a body portion and securing means which are operable to secure the flap portion directly to the body portion. The body portion includes a front panel and a rear panel defining an inner cavity therebetween, wherein the flap portion is directly pivotally coupled to the front panel along a fold line. The assembly further includes an insert made of a separate piece of material than the envelope, wherein the insert is removably adhered directly to the rear panel at a position external of the inner cavity.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An insert and envelope assembly comprising:
an envelope including a flap portion, a body portion and securing means which are operable to secure said flap portion directly to said body portion, said body portion including a front panel and a rear panel defining an inner cavity therebetween, wherein said flap portion is directly pivotally coupled to said front panel along a fold line; and an insert made of a separate piece of material than said envelope, wherein said insert is removably adhered directly to said rear panel at a position external of said inner cavity.
2 . The assembly of claim 1 further comprising an outer envelope receiving said envelope, and said located and positioned insert, therein.
3 . The assembly of claim 2 further comprising an invoice located in said outer envelope, and wherein said invoice includes a return portion at least partially defined by a tear guideline and configured such that said return portion is sized to fit in said envelope in an unfolded state.
4 . The assembly of claim 2 wherein said outer envelope closely receives said envelope therein in an unfolded state.
5 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said insert is positioned such that an outer edge of said insert is located immediately adjacent to said fold line.
6 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said insert is positioned between said flap portion and said rear panel such that said insert covers at least 50% of said securing means relative to said rear panel.
7 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said insert is located and positioned to encourage a user to handle said insert such that after handling said insert said user is able to fully access said inner cavity and is able to utilize the majority of said securing means to secure said flap portion to said body portion.
8 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said insert is removably adhered directly to said rear panel of said envelope by an insert adhesive, and wherein said insert adhesive is located directly below said flap portion when said flap portion is secured to said body portion by said securing means.
9 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said rear panel has an upper free edge, and wherein said insert is not directly coupled to said upper free edge.
10 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said envelope is a diagonal seam envelope.
11 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein said insert is positioned entirely externally of said cavity such that no part of said insert is positioned in said cavity.
12 . The assembly of claim 1 wherein at least part of said insert is positioned between said flap portion and said rear panel.
13 . An insert and envelope assembly comprising:
an envelope including a flap portion, a body portion and securing means which are operable to secure said flap portion directly to said body portion, said body portion including a front panel and a rear panel defining an inner cavity therebetween, wherein said flap portion is directly pivotally coupled to said front panel along a fold line, and wherein said rear panel has an upper free edge; and an insert, at least part of said insert being positioned between said flap portion and said rear panel, and wherein said insert is removably adhered directly to said rear panel of said envelope at a position external of said inner cavity, and wherein said insert is not directly coupled to said upper free edge.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
