Convertible golf bag base and putting green

Abstract

A convertible golf bag base and putting green includes a base plate, a ramp surface, a raised lip, a sidewall and a cup. A convertible golf bag base and putting green includes a circular incline with a perimeter rim wherein said perimeter rim defines a circle with an open arc and a depression within said incline within the perimeter of said rim. A convertible golf bag base and putting green includes a base, an incline rising up from said base, said incline including a rectangular ramp rising from the level of said base and spreading into a circular incline upon said base, a perimeter rim along two parallel edges of said rectangular ramp and encircling a portion of said circular incline; and a depression within said incline within the perimeter of said rim.

1 . A convertible golf bag base and putting green, comprising:
 a circular incline with a perimeter rim wherein said perimeter rim defines a circle with an open arc; and   a depression within said incline within the perimeter of said rim.   
   
   
       2 . A convertible golf bag base and putting green, comprising:
 a base with an incline rising up from said base, said incline including a rectangular ramp rising from the level of said base and spreading into a circular incline upon said base;   a perimeter rim along two parallel edges of said rectangular ramp and encircling a portion of said circular incline; and   a depression within said incline within the perimeter of said rim.   
   
   
       3 . A convertible golf bag base and putting green, comprising:
 a flat base plate, having a perimeter edge substantially flush with a supporting floor or ground surface;   a ramp rising from said base plate with a lower edge, a face, a perimeter ridge partially encompassing said face, and a circular depression with a diameter large enough to receive a standard golf ball, but not greater than the diameter of a golf tee hole; wherein the lower edge of said ramp is flush with a portion of said base plate's perimeter edge, free of said perimeter ridge; and   wherein a portion of the path of said perimeter ridge is a circular arc greater than 180 degrees but less than 360 degrees, of a diameter to receive the base of a golf bag for holding golf clubs.   
   
   
       4 . The convertible golf bag base and putting green of  claim 3 , wherein said flat base and said ramp are made from a material selected from the group consisting of fiberglass, plastic, and aluminum. 
   
   
       5 . The convertible golf bag base and putting green of  claim 3 , wherein said perimeter ridge has a height between 0.25 inches (0.64 cm) to 1.0 inch (2.54 cm). 
   
   
       6 . A convertible golf bag base and putting green, comprising:
 a base plate having a ramp surface with a peripheral edge;   a raised lip connected to said ramp surface's peripheral edge;   a sidewall connecting said raised lip to said base plate; and   a cup fixed to said ramp surface.   
   
   
       7 . A convertible golf bag base and putting green, comprising:
 means for upright storage of a golf bag; and   means for practicing putting skills.   
   
   
       8 . A process for the upright storage of a golf club bag, comprising the steps of:
 placing a base plate having a ramp surface, raised lip and sidewall in a desired location; and   placing said golf club bag on top of said base plate such that said golf club bag rests on said ramp surface and is secured by said raised lip.
