Abstract
A slipper includes a sole, a pad securely attached to the sole and a top securely mounted on top of the pad and having a strap in connection to opposite sides of the top. An arch insert is sandwiched between the sole and the pad for providing comfort to a foot arch.

a sole; a pad securely attached to the sole; a top securely mounted on top of the pad and having a strap in connection to opposite sides of the top; and an arch insert sandwiched between the sole and the pad for providing comfort to a foot arch.
2 . The slipper as claimed in claim 1 , wherein he arch insert has an arcuate recessed area defined in a side face thereof.
3 . The slipper as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the arch insert has a height sloping downward from a location where the arcuate recessed area is defined.
4 . The slipper as claimed in claim 1 , a heel pad is sandwiched between the sole and the pad for support of a wearer's heel.
