Abstract

Provided are methods of treatment for tumors. In particular, methods are provided for modulating activity of a cytokine molecule and its receptor.

         19 . A method of inhibiting tumor growth comprising contacting a tumor cell with an effective amount of a binding composition comprising an antigen-binding site of an antibody that specifically binds to IL-23.  
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 19 , wherein the binding composition comprises an antigen-binding site of an antibody that specifically binds to a polypeptide consisting of residues 1-168 of SEQ ID NO: 2.
