Abstract

Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for providing communications services. One method receiving at a service provider a user's request for communications service. The user is permitted to negotiate with other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.

1 . A method of providing communications services, comprising: 
 receiving at a service provider a user's request for communications service; and    permitting the user to negotiate with other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.    
     
     
         2 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising linearly predicting that the user will pay for the requested communications service.  
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein when credit is extended to the user, then permitting the user to negotiate with the other service providers.  
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising sending an invitation to at least one of the service provider and the other service providers to bid to fulfill the user's request for communications service.  
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising receiving a bid from at least one of the service provider and the other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.  
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising receiving a bid from a wireless service provider to fulfill the request for communications service.  
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising determining a preferred bid from at least one of the service provider and the other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.  
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising determining a preferred combination of bids to fulfill the request for communications service.  
     
     
         9 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising accessing a profile that stores the user's preferences for presenting billing charges from the other service providers.  
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein when the profile indicates a single billing statement is desired, then aggregating billing charges between the other service providers.  
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 9 , further comprising billing the user for the aggregated billing charges.  
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 9 , further comprising billing the user's credit card for the aggregated billing charges.  
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising receiving bids to perform a conversion.  
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising receiving a data stream from the user's device and segmenting the data stream into segments.  
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 14 , further comprising dispersing at least one of the segments to another service provider to receive a processing service.  
     
     
         16 . The method according to  claim 15 , further comprising receiving a result of the processing service.  
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 16 , further comprising aggregating the result of the processing service into another data stream.  
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising: 
 receiving data streams from users' devices;    segmenting the data streams into segments;    aggregating similar segments of the segments that require a processing service;    dispersing the similar segments to another service provider to receive the processing service; and    receiving a result of the processing service.    
     
     
         19 . A system, comprising: 
 means for receiving at a service provider a user's request for communications service; and    means for permitting the user to negotiate with other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.    
     
     
         20 . A computer program product comprising processor-executable instructions for performing a method of providing communications services, the method comprising: 
 receiving at a service provider a user's request for communications service; and    permitting the user to negotiate with other service providers to fulfill the request for communications service.
