Insecticidal Compositions

Abstract

The present invention relates to insecticidal mixtures of chloronicotinyl insecticides of the formula (I) in which R 1 represents C 1 -C 5 -alkyl, R 2 represents hydrogen or C 1 -C 5 -alkyl or R 1 and R 2 together represent —CH 2 —CH 2 —; —CH 2 —CH 2 —CH 2 — or X represents an NH group, NCH 3 group or represents sulphur, Y represents nitrogen or a CH group and Z represents cyano or nitro, with one or more of the synergists mentioned in the description.

 Z represents cyano or nitro,  
 with one or more synergists from the group consisting of

 4-bromo-2-(4-chlorophenyl)-2-(ethoxymethyl)-5-(trifluoromethyl)-1H-pyrrole-3-carbonitrile [AC 303, 630];

         4 . Process for preparing insecticidal compositions of chloronicotinyl insecticides with one or more synergists according to  claim 1 , characterized in that the active compounds are mixed with extenders, optionally using surface-active agents.  
     
     
         5 . Insecticidal formulations according to  claim 1 , characterized in that they comprise between 0.1 and 95 percent by weight of active compound mixture.  
     
     
         6 . Use of the insecticidally active compound formulations according to  claim 1  for combating insects, arachnids and nematodes.
