Abstract
The invention pertains to a unit package for multiple bags of insulation products, and a method of making the unit package. The unit package includes, a flexible sleeve having opposite ends, and multiple handles, wherein the handles are directly in a corresponding end of the flexible sleeve, the corresponding end projects outwardly beyond the bags of insulation products in the sleeve, and the corresponding end is flexible to bend and move the handles away from the side of the sleeve, such that the handles are accessible for grasping when the side of the sleeve is covered.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A unit package for multiple bags of insulation products, the unit package comprising, a flexible sleeve having opposite ends, and multiple handles, characterised in that;
the handles are directly in a corresponding end of the flexible sleeve, the corresponding end projects outwardly beyond the bags of insulation products in the sleeve, and the corresponding end is flexible to bend and move the handles away from the side of the sleeve, such that the handles become accessible for grasping when the side of the sleeve is covered.
2 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
each end of the sleeve comprises an open end.
3 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
the overhang portion is gathered together to comprise a closed end of the wrapper.
4 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
the sleeve has a longitudinal seam along the side of the sleeve.
5 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
the wrapper comprises a seamless unitary sleeve.
6 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein each handle is one of a pair of handles spaced apart a distance to deter a worker from using two hands to grasp both of said handles.
7 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
each handle comprises a handle opening; the wrapper has a flap along an uncut edge of each handle opening; and the flap is doubled back along the uncut edge of the handle opening.
8 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
the wrapper comprises sections of flexible film joined together along longitudinal side seams of the sleeve.
9 . The unit package as in claim 1 , wherein
the wrapper comprises a flexible film, wherein the film comprises strands of a polymeric material, and the strands are woven or non-woven.
10 . A method of making a unit package comprising, enveloping insulation packages in a wrapper comprising a flexible sleeve, and cutting one or more handles comprising openings into an end of the wrapper, characterised by; extending the end of the sleeve beyond the insulation packages such that the end of the sleeve is flexible to bend and move the handles away from the side of the sleeve, such that the handles become accessible for grasping when the side of the sleeve is covered.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
