Abstract

A system for delivering content to a terminal includes a secure content server. The server includes a database in which content delivery conditions are defined. At least one of the delivery conditions relates to a location at which it is permissible to render content. A request from a terminal to deliver content for rendering will be accepted provided the terminal is determined to be within the pre-defined location.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method, comprising:
providing an electronic voucher to a mobile terminal using point to point communication at a point of sale, wherein the electronic voucher conditionally enables the rendering of a first content at the mobile terminal; sending a session request from the mobile terminal to a secure content server using a radio communications channel and data obtained from the electronic voucher; authenticating the electronic voucher at the secure content server, and enabling the rendering of the first content at the mobile terminal if a condition associated with the mobile terminal satisfies a restriction condition associated with the first content.
