Child's play gym, also usable as a seat
Abstract
A child's play gym ( 1 ) comprising a base ( 2 ) to be positioned on a support surface (P), said base ( 2 ) having a perimetral frame ( 3 ) connected to an arched element ( 6 ) carrying games ( 11 ) and able to be disposed in at least one working position in which it lies above the base ( 2 ), this latter preferably presenting a flat element ( 4 ) connected to the perimetral frame ( 3 ). Said perimetral frame ( 3 ) comprises a first portion ( 12 ) and a second portion ( 13 ) hinged together and inclinable relative to each other, the flat element ( 4 ) being connected to at least a first ( 12 ) of said portions ( 12, 13 ), to act as a backrest for supporting a child when said first portion ( 12 ) is inclined to the second ( 13 ), the play gym being able to act as a seat when in that configuration.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A child's play gym ( 1 ) comprising a base ( 2 ) to be positioned on a support surface (P), said base ( 2 ) having a perimetral frame ( 3 ) connected to an arched element ( 6 ) carrying games ( 11 ) and able to be disposed in at least one working position in which it lies above the base ( 2 ), this latter preferably presenting a flat element ( 4 ) connected to the perimetral frame ( 3 ), characterised in that said perimetral frame ( 3 ) comprises a first portion ( 12 ) and a second portion ( 13 ) hinged together and inclinable relative to each other, the flat element ( 4 ) being connected to at least a first ( 12 ) of said portions ( 12 , 13 ), to act as a backrest for supporting a child when said first portion ( 12 ) is inclined to the second ( 13 ), the play gym being able to act as a seat when in that configuration.
2 . A play gym as claimed in claim 1 , characterised in that the second portion ( 13 ) comprises the arched element ( 6 ).
3 . A play gym as claimed in claim 1 , characterised in that the second portion ( 13 ) comprises a plurality of parts ( 21 , 6 ) hinged together.
4 . A play gym as claimed in claim 1 , characterised in that the hinged portions ( 12 , 13 ) are connected together by articulated joints ( 5 , 18 ) enabling these portions ( 12 , 13 ) to achieve and maintain positions inclined relative to each other.
5 . A play gym as claimed in claim 4 , characterised in that each articulated joint comprises a pushbutton ( 30 ) movable against an elastic element ( 40 ) along an axis perpendicular to end portions ( 48 , 51 ) of the hinged portions ( 6 , 12 , 13 , 21 ) of the frame ( 3 ).
6 . A play gym as claimed in claim 5 , characterised in that the pushbutton ( 30 ) comprises a cup-shaped element ( 32 ) provided with projecting lugs ( 37 ) arranged to cooperate with seats ( 52 ) provided in an annular end portion ( 51 ) of one ( 6 ) of the hinged portions ( 6 , 12 , 13 , 21 ) of the frame ( 3 ) such as to define working positions of that portion relative to the adjacent portion, said cup-shaped element ( 32 ) being rigid with, but axially movable within, a cup-shaped part ( 43 ) rigid with the end portion ( 48 ) of the other ( 12 , 21 ) of the hinged portions ( 6 , 12 , 13 , 21 ) of the frame ( 3 ), said cup-shaped element moving against the elastic element ( 40 ) contained within it and within the cup-shaped part ( 43 ).
7 . A play gym as claimed in claim 6 , characterised in that the cup-shaped part ( 43 ) is torsionally rigid with the cup-shaped element ( 32 ) by means of elastically movable vanes ( 38 ) of this latter inserted into corresponding seats ( 45 ) of said part ( 43 ).
8 . A play gym as claimed in claim 6 , characterised in that the seats ( 53 ) of said annular end portion ( 51 ) are provided in a flange ( 52 ) formed on the inside of said portion ( 51 ), an annular part ( 55 ) resting on, but spaced from, this latter, the lugs projecting from the cup-shaped element ( 32 ) of the pushbutton ( 30 ) being relatively movable between this part and said flange when there is relative movement between the portions ( 6 , 12 , 13 , 21 ) of said frame.
9 . A play gym as claimed in claim 1 , characterised by comprising a resting element ( 70 ) hinged to said perimetral frame ( 3 ), to support the first portion ( 12 ) of this latter when in its position inclined to the second portion ( 13 ).Cited by (0)
