Abstract

A carousel for display of elongated merchandise comprising a lower pole, a center pole and an upper pole which fit together, a rotatable cylindrical sleeve mounted on the center pole, the sleeve having two hubs, one hub attached to each end of the sleeve, each hub having a plurality of cone shaped recesses for receiving a product holder, a clam shell product holder having a portion adapted to hold an elongated product, the clam shell holder having a cone shaped member which fits into the cone shaped recesses.

A carousel for display of elongated product, comprising one or more vertical poles, a rotatable cylindrical sleeve mounted on the pole, the sleeve having two or more hubs, one hub attached to each end of the sleeve, each hub having a plurality of recesses for receiving a product holder, a product holder having a portion adapted to hold an elongated product, and a member which fits into one of the hub recesses. 
   
   
       2 . The carousel of  claim 1  further comprising structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve. 
   
   
       3 . The carousel of  claim 2  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a key on each hub and a notch in the sleeve. 
   
   
       4 . The carousel of  claim 2  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a notch on each hub and a key on the sleeve. 
   
   
       5 . The carousel of  claim 2  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a notch on each hub and a raised strip on the sleeve. 
   
   
       6 . The carousel of  claim 1  in which the recesses of one hub are offset from the recesses of the other hub. 
   
   
       7 . The carousel of  claim 1  further comprising locking rings at the top and bottom of the sleeve to hold the sleeve in place. 
   
   
       8 . The carousel of  claim 1  in which the vertical pole are comprised of a plurality of poles telescoped together. 
   
   
       9 . The carousel of  claim 1  in which the vertical pole is adjustable in length. 
   
   
       10 . The carousel of  claim 1  further comprising a free-standing base adapted to receive the vertical pole. 
   
   
       11 . The carousel of  claim 1  further comprising a wall bracket to attach the carousel to a wall. 
   
   
       12 . The carousel of  claim 1  in which the hub recesses are cone shaped and the product holder comprises a clam shell structure having a circular portion to hold the elongated product and a cone shaped portion to fit into the cone shaped recess of a hub.

A carousel for display of canes, comprising a lower pole, a center pole and an upper pole which fit together, a base adapted to receive the lower pole to support the carousel, a rotatable cylindrical sleeve mounted on the center pole, the sleeve having two hubs, one hub attached to each end of the sleeve, each hub having a plurality of cone shaped recesses for receiving a product holder, a clam shell product holder having a circular portion adapted to hold a cane, and a cone shaped member which fits into one of the hub recesses. 
   
   
       14 . The carousel of  claim 12  further comprising structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve. 
   
   
       15 . The carousel of  claim 12  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a key on each hub and a notch in the sleeve. 
   
   
       16 . The carousel of  claim 12  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a notch on each hub and a key on the sleeve. 
   
   
       17 . The carousel of  claim 12  in which the structure to attach the hubs to the sleeve comprises a notch on each hub and a raised strip on the sleeve. 
   
   
       18 . The carousel of  claim 12  in which the recesses of one hub are offset from the recesses of the other hub. 
   
   
       19 . The carousel of  claim 12  further comprising locking rings on the center pole, at the top and bottom of the sleeve to hold the sleeve in place. 
   
   
       20 . The carousel of  claim 12  in which the upper pole and lower pole are comprised of a plurality of poles telescoped together.

A product holder for holding an elongated product on a display carousel having cone shaped recesses to receive product holders comprising, a clam shell structure having a circular portion to hold the elongated product and a cone shaped portion to fit into a cone shaped recess of the carousel.

The product holder of  claim 21  in which the clam shell structure comprises two side portions and a center portion, the center portion forming a circular area to hold the elongated product and the side portions coming together to form a cone shaped member and an area to hold an information package. 
   
   
       23 . The product holder of  claim 22  further comprising a plurality of recesses in one side portion and a plurality of buttons adapted to fit into the recesses on the other side portion, to hold the clam shell structure together. 
   
   
       24 . The product holder of  claim 22  in which the clam shell structure is held together by sealing the two side portions together. 
   
   
       25 . The product holder of  claim 22  further comprising a security device in the product holder. 
   
   
       26 . The product holder of  claim 21  in which the product holder is made of a thermoformed plastic.
