Abstract
Embodiments of the present disclosure include disposable wearable absorbent articles with anchoring systems. In an embodiment, a disposable wearable absorbent article includes an absorbent core, an outer cover, and an anchoring system configured to anchor the absorbent core to a wearer, wherein at least part of the anchoring system is structurally associated with the outer cover.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A disposable wearable absorbent article comprising an absorbent core, an outer cover that is stretchable in at least one direction, an anchoring system configured to anchor the absorbent core to a wearer, and a contractible waist opening.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 1 , including a waistband substantially encircling the waist opening.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 2 , including a finished waist edge.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 2 , including a chassis, wherein the waistband is integral with at least a portion of the chassis.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 2 , including a chassis, wherein the waistband is a discrete element attached to the chassis.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 5 , wherein the waistband is elastic.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 5 , wherein the waistband is elastomeric.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 5 , wherein the waistband is configured to be contractible by pre-tensioning.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 5 , wherein the waistband is formed from a material selected from the group including: a zero-strain laminate, a pre-stretched laminate, a film, a foam, and an elastic nonwoven.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 5 , wherein the waistband includes a laminate and an elastomeric element selected from the group including: an elastomeric film, a printed elastomeric pattern, an elastic strand, an elastic nonwoven, and an elastic foam.
. A disposable wearable absorbent article comprising an absorbent core, an outer cover that is stretchable in at least one direction, an anchoring system configured to anchor the absorbent core to a wearer, and contractible leg openings.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 11 , including a leg band substantially encircling each of the leg openings.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 12 , including a finished outer leg cuff.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 12 , including a chassis, wherein the leg band is integral with at least a portion of the chassis.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 12 , including a chassis, wherein the leg band is a discrete element attached to the chassis.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 15 , wherein the leg band is elastic.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 15 , wherein the leg band is elastomeric.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 15 , wherein the leg band is configured to be contractible by pre-tensioning.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 15 , wherein the leg band is formed from a material selected from the group including: a zero-strain laminate, a pre-stretched laminate, a film, a foam, and an elastic nonwoven.
. The disposable wearable absorbent article of claim 15 , wherein the leg band includes a laminate and an elastomeric element selected from the group including: an elastomeric film, a printed elastomeric pattern, an elastic strand, an elastic nonwoven, and an elastic foam.Cited by (0)
