Abstract

Embodiments include treating an area of human skin with a pad on the head of a vibrator.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method comprising:
placing a pad comprising a porous material on a head of a hand held vibrator; contacting a skin of a human with the pad; switching on the vibrator; and moving the pad on the head of the vibrator over an area of the skin.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising applying a composition comprising a cleansing component to the skin.

3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the pad comprises a sponge material.

4 . The method of claim 3 , further comprising applying microcrystals to the skin in an amount effective to resurface the skin.

5 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the skin of a human comprises facial skin, and further comprising applying a composition on the pad comprising a cream moisturizer having suspended therein at least thirty five percent by weight of the composition of microcrystals for microdermabrasion and having an average particle size from 34 to 124 microns.

         6 . A method comprising:
treating an area of human skin with a replaceable pad coupled to a head of a vibrator.

7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the pad comprises a porous material, and treating comprises applying a composition comprising a cleansing component to the skin.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein treating comprises applying microcrystals to the skin in an amount effective to resurface the human skin.

9 . The method of claim 6 , wherein treating comprises treating an area of the skin with a composition in contact with the pad.

10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the composition comprises a cleansing component.

11 . The method of claim 6 , wherein treating comprises treating an area of the skin with a composition comprising a moisturizer having suspended microcrystals therein, wherein the microcrystals are present in an amount in the moisturizer effective to resurface the human skin.

12 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the microcrystals are suspended in the cream moisturizer in a ratio of approximately 14 grams per ounce of cream moisturizer.

13 . The method of claim 11 , wherein the microcrystals are for microdermabrasion, have an average particle size from 34 to 124 microns, and are at least thirty five percent by weight of the composition.

14 . The method of claim 6 , further comprising manipulating the pad over the skin in a circular motion.

         15 . A method comprising:
applying to an area of human skin a pad, in the presence of a vibrating instrument comprising the pad; and one of vibrating and massaging the area of skin.

16 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising applying a composition to the skin.

17 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the composition comprises a cleansing component.

18 . The method of claim 16 , wherein the composition comprises microcrystals in an amount effective to resurface the human skin.

19 . The method of claim 15 , wherein the pad comprises a replaceable pad, the method further comprising:
applying a composition comprising a cleansing component; and buffing an area of the skin with the composition using the pad.

20 . The method of claim 15 , further comprising moving the pad over the skin in a circular motion.
