Novelty Figurine And Carabiner Storage Assembly

Abstract

A novelty figurine and carabiner storage assembly is provided. The figurine comprises a head portion, a body portion located proximate to the head portion, and at least one carabiner attachment assembly extending from the body portion for selectively allowing the figurine to be attached to or removed from another item able to receive the attachment assembly. The carabiner attachment assembly comprises at least first and second leg assemblies, with one of the leg assemblies having a selectively openable gate assembly extending therealong. The body portion has at least one substantially hollow interior section and at least one selectively openable door assembly for access into the substantially hollow interior section.

1 . A novelty figurine, comprising:
 a head portion having a front;   a body portion located below said head portion, said body portion comprising at least one substantially hollow interior section and at least one selectively openable door assembly below said head portion for access into said substantially hollow interior section; and   at least one carabiner attachment assembly extending from said body portion for selectively allowing said figurine to be attached to or removed from another item able to receive said attachment assembly, said attachment assembly comprising at least a first leg having a selectively openable gate assembly extending therealong, said first leg being firmly secured to said body portion so as to extend rearwardly behind said head portion, said head portion and leg being proportioned so that said leg is hidden behind said head portion when viewed from the front.

A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 1 , wherein said selectively openable door assembly comprises a hinge assembly around which said door assembly is selectively rotatable from a closed position to an open position thereby allowing access into said substantially hollow interior section. 
   
   
       3 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 1 , further comprising means to support said figurine in a substantially upright, standing position, with said head portion located substantially above said body portion.

A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 3 , said hinge assembly located at a bottom section of said body portion so that a substantially uppermost portion of said door assembly is proximate said head portion when said door assembly is in said closed position and said substantially uppermost portion of said door assembly is rotatingly displaced downward therefrom when said door assembly is in said open position. 
   
   
       5 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 4 , said support means comprising a portion of said bottom section of said body portion and at least one leg support assembly extending from said body portion at, or proximate to, said bottom section. 
   
   
       6 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 4 , said head portion connected to said door assembly at said substantially uppermost portion thereof. 
   
   
       7 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 4 , said head portion being said substantially uppermost portion of said door assembly.

A novelty figurine as recited in either of  claims 7 , said head portion further comprising selectively releasable securing means extending rearwardly from said head portion for selectively securing said head portion to an uppermost section of said body portion when said door assembly is in said first, closed position.

A novelty figurine as recited in either of  claims 6 , said head portion further comprising selectively releasable securing means extending rearwardly from said head portion for selectively securing said head portion to an uppermost section of said body portion when said door assembly is in said first, closed position.

A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 4 , said door assembly further comprising selectively releasable securing means extending from said substantially uppermost portion of said door assembly for selectively securing said substantially uppermost portion of said door assembly to said body portion when said door assembly in said closed position. 
   
   
       11 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 1 , said head portion being attached to a portion of said body portion by a spring. 
   
   
       12 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 1 , said gate assembly comprising a pin and a gate arm, said gate arm being selectively pivotable about said pin. 
   
   
       13 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 1 , said gate assembly comprising a resilient gate arm. 
   
   
       14 . A novelty figurine, comprising:
 a head portion having a front;   a body portion located below said head portion, said body portion comprising at least one substantially hollow interior section and at least one selectively openable door assembly below said head portion for access into said substantially hollow interior section; and   a carabiner attachment assembly firmly affixed to and extending rearwardly from said body portion so as to be concealed by the head portion when viewed from the front.   
   
   
       15 . A novelty figurine as recited in  claim 14 , said head portion being attached to a portion of said second leg assembly of said attachment assembly by a spring.
