Abstract

An attachment device is provided comprising at least one fluid filled cavity formed therein. The attachment device is preferably in the form of a carabiner in which at least a portion of the carabiner body is formed of a transparent material such that the fluid filled cavity is visible. In a preferred embodiment an indicia bearing means is visibly disposed within said cavity.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. A device comprising a body member comprising a first end, a second end and a length defined between said first and second ends, said device further comprising a gate member having a first and a second end, one of said ends of said gate member pivotally attached to one of said ends of said body member, the other of said ends of said gate member substantially contacting said other end of said body member when said gate is in a closed position, said device further comprising a fluid containing cavity located along a portion of said length of said body member, wherein a cross-sectional element of said body member is continuous along said length of said body member.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said fluid is sealed within said cavity and thereby said fluid is inaccessible to a user of said device.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said fluid is at least partially a liquid.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said device is constructed at least of metal and a transparent material.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said body member is curvilinear.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said device is formed in the shape of a carabiner.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein a portion of said cavity comprises a transparent material.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of said gate member comprises a transparent material and at least one cavity formed therein.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said fluid is selected from the group consisting of water, oil, gel and mixtures thereof.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said fluid is particulate matter.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said cavity contains a colorant.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said cavity contains a reflective material.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said cavity contains a refractive material.

. The device of claim 1 , wherein said cavity contains glitter.

. The device of claim 1 , further comprising at least one object within said cavity.

. The device of claim 15 , said at least one object comprising at least one indicia bearing object.

. The device of claim 16 , wherein at least one of said at least one indicia bearing objects are anchored to an inside wall of said cavity.

. The device of claim 16 , wherein said at least one indicia bearing object is not anchored to an inside wall of said cavity.

. The device of claim 16 , wherein at least one of said at least one indicia bearing objects has at least one indicia receiving surface.
