Abstract
A frequency converter includes a radiating section having a base and fins for radiating heat from a power semiconductor, a circuit substrate being provided at an opposite side of the fins with respect to the base, a housing that covers the circuit substrate, a guide for flowing air between the housing and the circuit substrate toward a downstream side of the fins, and a fan. The fan flows the air flown to the downstream side of the fins by the guide toward an upstream side of the fins.

a radiating section having a base and fins for radiating heat from a power semiconductor; a circuit substrate provided at an opposite side of said fins with respect to said base; a housing that covers said circuit substrate; a guide for flowing air between said housing and said circuit substrate toward a downstream side of said fins; and a fan for flowing the air flown to the downstream side of said fins by said guide toward an upstream side of said fins.
2 . The frequency converter according to claim 1 , wherein said guide is provided for flowing the air between said circuit substrate and said base toward a downstream side of said fins.
3 . The frequency converter according to claim 2 , wherein said circuit substrate includes a control circuit for controlling said frequency converter.
4 . The frequency converter according to claim 3 , wherein a CPU for controlling said control circuit is provided at the upstream side of said power semiconductor.
5 . The frequency converter according to claim 5 , wherein said fan is provided at an upstream side of said fins.
6 . A frequency converter comprising:
a first substrate having a power semiconductor; a second substrate having a control circuit for controlling the frequency converter; a housing that covers the first and second substrates; a radiating section having a base and fins for radiating heat of said power semiconductor; and a guide for flowing air between said first substrate and said second substrate toward a downstream side of said fins; and a fan for flowing the air flown to the downstream side of said fins by said guide toward the upstream side of said fins.
7 . A frequency converter according to claim 6 , wherein said first substrate and said second substrate are provided at an opposite side of said fins with respect to said base.
8 . The frequency converter according to claim 6 , wherein said guide flows the air between said second substrate and said housing to the downstream side of said fins.
9 . The frequency converter according to claim 5 , wherein said control circuit provides with a CPU, said CPU being located at an upstream side of said power semiconductor.
