Abstract

The present invention relates to pheromone mixture comprising 2,9 diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane, as a racemate or, biologically active stereoisomers thereof, as well as a method for monitoring and/or mating disruption of swede midge, Contarinia nasturtii , in Brassica vegetables, in particular Brussels sprouts, cauliflower and broccoli.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
. The pheromone mixture comprising 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane, as a racemate or biologically active stereoisomers thereof.

. The pheromone 2,9-diacetoxyundecane as a racemate or a biologically active stereoisomer thereof.

. The pheromone 2,10-diacetoxyundecane as a racemate or a biologically active stereoisomer thereof.

- 19 . (canceled)

. The pheromone mixture of C. nasturtii comprising (2S, 9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane.

. The sex pheromone (2S, 9S)-diacetoxyundecane of C. nasturtii.

. The sex pheromone (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane of C. nasturtii.

. A mixture according to claim 1 , wherein the (2S,9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane are present in a weight ratio of 1:0.5-3:0.001-0.05.

. A method for prognostication (monitoring) of C. nasturtii , wherein one applies the sex pheromone mixture of C. nasturtii comprising 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane either as racemates and/or as biologically active stereoisomers, in a trap in connection with a field or a geographical region to be monitored with regard to the presence of C. nasturtii.

. A method for prognostication (monitoring) of C. nasturtii according to claim 25 , wherein the mixture applied is (2S, 9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S,10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane.

. A method for controlling C. nasturtii by mating disruption, wherein one applies the sex pheromone mixture of C. nasturtii comprising 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane, either as racemates and/or as biologically active stereoisomers, in connection to a field, to be controlled, by the spread of these compounds.

. A method for controlling C. nasturtii according to claim 26 , wherein the mixture applied is (2S,9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane.

. A dispenser comprising the mixture of sexual pheromone compounds 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane, either as racemates and/or as biologically active stereoisomers for prognostication (monitoring) and/or control of C. nasturtii.

. A dispenser according to claim 28 , wherein the mixture is (2S,9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane.

. A dispenser according to claim 28 , whereby 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane and 2-acetoxyundecane are present in a weight ratio of 1:0.5-3:0.001-0.05.

. A mixture according to claim 23 , wherein the (2S,9S)-diacetoxyundecane, (2S, 10S)-diacetoxyundecane and (2S)-acetoxyundecane are present in a weight ratio of 1:2:0.02.

. A dispenser according to claim 30 , whereby 2,9-diacetoxyundecane, 2,10-diacetoxyundecane, and 2-acetoxyundecane are present in a weight ratio of 1:2:0.02.
