Abstract

This invention relates to a container assembly and more particularly, but not exclusively, to a container assembly for holding a prize inside a container. The container assembly includes a container body ( 2 ) defining a main compartment. A hollow insert ( 8 ) is located in the main compartment ( 4 ) to form a secondary compartment ( 5 ) within the main compartment ( 4 ). A liquid is sealed inside the secondary compartment ( 5 ) and the container body ( 2 ) has a lid ( 3 ) closing the main compartment ( 4 ).

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
- 17 . (canceled)

. A container comprising a container body defining a main compartment; a hollow insert located in the main compartment to form a secondary compartment within the main compartment, said hollow insert having locating means on a surface thereof; a closure means for sealing a liquid in the secondary compartment; a lid to close the main compartment of the container body; and a sleeve insert located in the main compartment of the container body and having a screw-thread formation on a surface thereof that cooperates with the locating means on the surface of the hollow insert to hold the hollow insert in place in the container.

. The container of claim 18 in which the screw-thread formation extends from an inner surface of the sleeve insert and the locating means is on an outer surface of the hollow insert.

. The container of claim 19 in which the screw-thread formation on the sleeve insert is an elongate operatively inwardly extending protrusion defining a section of a screw thread that cooperates with the locating means on the outer surface of the hollow insert.

. The container assembly as claimed in claim 20 in which the locating means is an outer screw thread on the hollow insert.

. The container of claim 18 in which the sleeve insert is a split sleeve of two sleeve parts.

. The container of claim 22 in which the two sleeve parts of the split sleeve are resiliently deformable.

. The container of claim 18 in which the hollow insert is cylindrical.

. The container of claim 18 in which the container lid has a circumferentially extending slot for engagement with an upper edge of the container body.

. The container of claim 25 in which the upper edge of the container body is a right-circular upwardly extending rim section for engagement with the slot in the lid.

. The container of claim 18 including notification means.

. The container of claim 27 in which notification means is provided in the form of a sticker located under the lid on the closure means.

. The container of claim 18 in which the closure means of the hollow insert is a disc.

. A container comprising a container body defining a main compartment; a hollow insert located in the main compartment to form a secondary compartment within the main compartment; a closure means for sealing a liquid in the second compartment; a lid to close the main compartment of the container body; and a sleeve insert located in the main compartment of the container body having an inwardly extending lip that frictionally engages with the hollow insert to hold the hollow insert in place in the container.

. The container of claim 30 in which the inwardly extending lip extends from an inner edge surface of the sleeve insert so that the sleeve insert terminates, at this one end, in the lip.

. The container of claim 31 in which the hollow insert has two cylindrical sections, a first section having a larger diameter than a second section.

. The container of claim 32 in which the hollow insert has a cylindrical lower hollow section forming the secondary compartment and a frusto conical upper hollow section.

. The container assembly of claim 32 in which the sleeve insert is a split sleeve of two sleeve parts and an outer surface of the first section of the hollow insert frictionally engages with the inwardly extending lip formation in which each part of the two part sleeve terminates.

. The container of claim 34 in which the two sleeve parts of the split sleeve are resiliently deformable.

. The container of claim 30 in which the container lid has a circumferentially extending slot for engagement with an upper edge of the container body.

. The container of claim 36 in which the upper edge of the container body is a right-circular upwardly extending rim section for engagement with the slot in the lid.

. The container of claim 30 including notification means.

. The container of claim 38 in which notification means is provided in the form of a sticker located under the lid on the closure means.

. The container of claim 30 in which the closure means of the hollow insert is a disc.
