Abstract

A two-in-one reinforced geogrid includes a primary fabric and a non-woven fabric fixed onto the primary fabric to together with the primary fabric produce an enhanced retaining strength. The non-woven fabric has a plurality of fine pores, which have sizes allowing water but not sand and grit to pass therethrough, and therefore effectively avoid river silting and mudflows. The two-in-one reinforced geogrid is convenient for using on different land surfaces, and may be advantageously folded and fixed at a slope to stabilize the land structure.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A two-in-one reinforced geogrid, comprising:
a primary fabric having a plurality of large meshes and a plurality of small meshes; and a non-woven fabric having a plurality of fine pores; the non-woven fabric being fixed onto the primary fabric to together with the primary fabric provide an enhanced retaining strength; and the fine pores on the non-woven fabric having sizes large enough for water but not sand and grit to pass therethrough to effectively separate water from sand and grit and thereby avoid river silting and mudflows.

2 . The two-in-one reinforced geogrid as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the large meshes on the primary fabric are formed using a plurality of polyester fiber bundles that are arranged in warp and weft directions to intersect with one another.

3 . The two-in-one reinforced geogrid as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the small meshes on the primary fabric are formed by weaving a plurality of thin wires.

4 . The two-in-one reinforced geogrid as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the non-woven fabric is associated with an environment-friendly resin to produce increased washout resistance without causing public hazards.
