Program recording and playing apparatus and portable terminal for recording and playing programs

Abstract

A broadcast program recording and playing apparatus includes a program management unit that manages a database storing program information for broadcast programs. A transmission unit transmits the program information stored in the database to an electronic apparatus using wireless communication. Under the control of the electronic apparatus, a control unit controls an apparatus having functions of recording and playing the broadcast programs.

         17 . A program processing apparatus comprising:
 program management part configured to manage a database that stores program information for programs;   transmission part configured to transmit the program information stored in the database to an electronic apparatus using wireless communication;   control part configured to control, under the control of the electronic apparatus, an apparatus having function of recording and playing programs,   first communication part configured to communicate data with the electronic apparatus through a wireless access network;   second communication part configured to communicate data with the electronic apparatus using a short-distance wireless communication system; and   switch part configured to switch between the first communication part and the second communication part.   
     
     
         18 . A portable terminal for recording and playing broadcast programs, comprising:
 transmission part configured to transmit program information stored in a database that stores the program information for programs to an electronic apparatus using wireless communication;   display part configured to display the program information obtained using the transmission part;   command transmission part configured to transmit a command that controls an apparatus having functions of recording and playing programs to a server that controls recording and playing performed by the apparatus,   first communication part configured to communicate data with the server through a wireless access network;   second communication part configured to communicate data with the server using a short-distance wireless communication system; and   switching part configured to switch between the first communication part and the second communication part.
