Biologically active extract from dendrobium plant, use thereof and process for preparing the same

Abstract

A substance having the following formula is provided. wherein R 1 and R 2 are selected from a group consisting of α-Ara, β-Ara and β-Xyl. The substance has an effect of accelerating a phagocytosis of RPE.

1 . A composition having a substance with a structure of formula 1: 
     
       
         
         
             
             
         
       
       wherein R 1  and R 2  are the same or different functional groups. 
     
   
   
       2 . A composition as claimed in  claim 1  comprising an effect of accelerating a phagocytosis of RPE. 
   
   
       3 . A composition as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the substance is one selected from the group consisting of
 apigenin 6,8-Di-C-α-L-arabinopyranoside,   apigenin 6-C-β-D-Xylopyranosyl-8-C-α-L-arabinopyranoside,   apigenin 6-C-α-L-Arabinopyranosyl-8-C-β-D-xylopyranoside and the mixture thereof.   
   
   
       4 . A composition as claimed in  claim 1  being physiologically active. 
   
   
       5 . A substance with a structure of formula 2: 
     
       
         
         
             
             
         
       
       wherein R 1  and R 2  are selected from a group consisting of α-Ara, β-Ara and β-Xyl. 
     
   
   
       6 . A substance as claimed in  claim 5  having an effect of accelerating a phagocytosis of RPE. 
   
   
       7 . A substance as claimed in  claim 5 , wherein R 1  and R 2  are the same or different and are selected from the group consisting of C-β-D-glucopyranosyl, C-β-D-galactopyranosyl, C-β-D-xylopyranosyl, C-β-D-arabinopyranosyl, C-α-L-arabinopyranosyl, C-α-L-rhamnopyranosyl and C-6-deoxy-xylo-hexos-4-ulosyl. 
   
   
       8 . A composition comprising a carrier for carrying therewith the substance according to  claim 5 . 
   
   
       9 . A composition as claimed in  claim 8  being a pharmaceutical composition. 
   
   
       10 . A composition as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein the carrier is a physiologically acceptable carrier. 
   
   
       11 . A composition as claimed in  claim 8 , wherein the carrier is a pharmaceutical carrier.
