Automatic recording/reproducing method and automatic recording/reproducing apparatus

Abstract

Recording reservation information of a plurality of programs is grouped and at least the latest program among the programs recorded on the basis of the reservation information is left on a recording medium. Therefore, a program information registration unit to register a plurality of items of recording reservation information as groups and a reserved program recording control unit to record the reserved programs onto the recording medium and leave at least the latest program among the programs recorded on the recording medium to delete the others on the basis of the reservation information.

       2 . A recording/reproducing apparatus, comprising:
 a program reservation information registration unit configured to register a recording reservation based on program information included in a broadcasting signal;   a recording control unit configured to record reserved programs corresponding to the recording reservation on a recording medium;   a reproducing control unit configured to reproduce a program recorded on the recording medium; and   an operation unit configured to input an operation signal to reproduce the program recorded on the recording medium,   wherein the operation unit has a dedicated button which generates a command to reproduce the last recorded program of the recorded programs.

The apparatus according to  claim 2 , wherein the recording reservation is a reservation of programs including a predetermined content, and the reproducing control unit reproduces the last recorded program of the programs including the predetermined content in accordance with an operation of the dedicated button. 
   
   
       4 . The apparatus according to  claim 3 , wherein the predetermined content is at least one of a weather forecast program and a news program. 
   
   
       5 . A method of controlling a recording/reproducing apparatus, comprising:
 registering a recording reservation based on program information included in a broadcasting signal;   recording reserved programs corresponding to the recording reservation on a recording medium; and   reproducing a program recorded on the recording medium; and   reproducing the last recorded program of the recorded programs according to an operation of a dedicated button of a remote controller.   
   
   
       6 . The method according to  claim 5 , wherein reproducing the last recorded program of the recorded programs is executed by a depression of the dedicated button.
