Abstract

A cloth accessory and methods for the use thereof are disclosed and described. In one aspect, the cloth accessory may include a cover member forming an enclosure with a cavity therein, and a cloth attached to the cover member. The cloth may have a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member, and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member without becoming detached therefrom.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with an opening therein, and having a flap configured to fold over an outside portion of the cover member and substantially close the opening; and a treated cloth coupled to the cover member substantially opposite the opening, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended through the opening substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having an inverted cover member position and a non-inverted cover member position, said opening having substantially the same size when said cover member is in the inverted and in the non-inverted positions.

       2 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with a cavity therein; and a treated cloth directly coupled to the cover member, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having a completely inverted cover member position with the cloth extending out of and away from the cover member, and a non-inverted cover member position, said cloth accessory being operable when said cover member is in the inverted position and in the non-inverted position.

       3 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material with a single opening, said opening being rounded in shape; and a treated cloth directly coupled to the cover member inside the cover member at a point of attachment substantially opposite the opening of the cover member, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member through the rounded opening for a distance sufficient for use of the accessory with the cover member in a non-inverted position and while remaining directly coupled to the cover member.

       4 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with an opening therein; and a treated cloth coupled to the cover member inside the cover member at a point of attachment substantially opposite the opening of the cover member, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage, and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended through the opening substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having an inverted cover member position and a non-inverted cover member position, said opening in said cover member having the same size when the cover member is in the inverted and non-inverted positions.

       5 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with an opening therein; and a treated cloth coupled to the cover member at a point of attachment near a central inside portion of the cover member, said cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having an inverted cover member position and a non-inverted cover member position, said cloth having a length sufficient to extend substantially out of the cover member and be used when the cover member is in the non-inverted position.

       6 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with an opening therein; and a treated cloth coupled to the cover member substantially opposite the opening, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended through the opening substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having a completely inverted cover member position and a non-inverted cover member position, said opening having substantially the same size when said cover member is in the inverted and in the non-inverted positions.

       7 . A cloth accessory comprising:
an invertible cover member of a soft and flexible material forming an enclosure with an opening therein; and a treated cloth directly coupled to the cover member at a point of attachment inside the cover member which is substantially opposite the opening, the cloth having a first configuration wherein the cloth is retracted substantially into the cover member for storage and a second configuration wherein the cloth is extended through the opening substantially out of the cover member for use while remaining directly coupled to the cover member, said second configuration having an inverted cover member position and a non-inverted cover member position, said opening having substantially the same size when said cover member is in the inverted and in the non-inverted positions.

8 . A cloth accessory as in any of claims 1 through 7 , wherein the treated cloth is configured to hold a material useful in treating a lens bearing device.

9 . A cloth accessory as in claim 8 , wherein the material is selected from the group consisting essentially of cleaning solutions, anti-fog solutions, polishes and waxes.

10 . A cloth accessory as in claim 8 wherein the lens bearing device is selected from the group consisting essentially of eye glasses, goggles, magnification scopes, cameras, binoculars, safety glasses and sunglasses.

11 . The cloth accessory of claim 8 , wherein the treated cloth is absorbent.

12 . The cloth accessory of claim 1 , wherein the treated cloth comprises microfibers.

13 . A cloth accessory as in any of claims 1 through 7 , wherein the cloth is detachable from the cover member.

14 . A method for cleaning or treating a device comprising:
providing a cloth accessory as recited in any of claims 1 through 7 ; orienting the treated cloth into the second configuration; and contacting the device with the treated cloth in a manner sufficient to clean or treat the device.

15 . A method as in claim 14 wherein the device is a lens bearing device.

16 . A method as in claim 15 wherein the lens bearing devices is selected from the group consisting of eye glasses, goggles, magnification scopes, cameras, binoculars, safety glasses and sunglasses.
