Brush applicator for a liquid container
Abstract
A brush applicator is adapted to be mounted to a liquid container and includes a brush unit, a hollow holding member, and a liquid discharging member. The brush unit includes a bristle-mounting seat and a plurality of bristles mounted on the bristle-mounting seat. The liquid discharging member is in the form of a single piece, and includes a base portion adapted to be received in the liquid container, and a tubular portion extending from the base portion through the bristle-mounting seat into the bristles. The liquid discharging member defines a fluid path extending through the base portion and the tubular portion. The hollow holding member is sleeved fittingly on the bristle-mounting seat and the base portion, and has a constricted open end for extension of the bristles therethrough.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A brush applicator adapted to be mounted to a liquid container, said brush applicator comprising:
a brush unit including a bristle-mounting seat and a plurality of bristles mounted on said bristle-mounting seat; a liquid discharging member in the form of a single piece and including a base portion adapted to be received in the liquid container, and a tubular portion extending from said base portion through said bristle-mounting seat into said bristles, said liquid discharging member defining a fluid path extending through said base portion and said tubular portion; and a hollow holding member sleeved fittingly on said bristle-mounting seat and said base portion and having a constricted open end for extension of said bristles therethrough.
2 . The brush applicator as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said bristle-mounting seat is sleeved on said tubular portion of said liquid discharging member and abuts against an upper surface of said base portion.
3 . The brush applicator as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said liquid discharging member further includes a flange extending radially outward from a lower end of said base portion, said hollow holding member having a lower end abutting against said flange.
4 . The brush applicator as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said hollow holding member further includes a limiting member extending radially inward from an inner surface of said hollow holding member, said bristle-mounting seat having a bottom surface abutting against said limiting member.
