Abstract

An aspect of the invention provides a microfiber scrubbing sponge. The microfiber scrubbing sponge includes a base block, and first and second scrubbing pattern portions. The base block has top, bottom, and side surfaces. The first scrubbing pattern portions are provided on the top surface of the base block, and each includes microfibers which are configured to scrub with higher friction in a direction. The second scrubbing pattern portions are provided on the top surface of the base block. The first scrubbing pattern portions and the second scrubbing pattern portions are disposed alternatingly. The first scrubbing pattern portions may include strips disposed in parallel with gaps, and the second scrubbing pattern portions may include strips disposed substantially in parallel. Each of the second scrubbing pattern portions may be disposed in the gaps provided between the first scrubbing pattern portions.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A microfiber scrubbing sponge comprising:
a base block having a top surface, a bottom surface, and side surfaces; a plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions provided on a plurality of first portions of the top surface of the base block, wherein each of the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprises a plurality of microfibers which are configured to scrub with higher friction in a first direction rather than a second direction; and a plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions provided on a plurality of second portions of the top surface of the base block, wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions and the plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions are disposed alternatingly.

2 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of strips.

3 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of strips.

4 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of strips disposed substantially in parallel with gaps inbetween, wherein the plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of strips disposed substantially in parallel, and wherein each of the plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions is disposed in the gaps provided between the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions.

5 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of straight strips, and wherein the plurality of straight strips extend perpendicularly to the first direction.

6 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of wavy strips, and wherein the plurality of wavy strips extend generally perpendicularly to the first direction.

7 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of patches, and wherein the plurality of patches are disposed with regular intervals inbetween.

8 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprise a plurality of patches, and wherein the plurality of patches are disposed with irregular intervals inbetween.

9 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the base block comprises one or more sponges.

10 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 9 , wherein the base block is substantially parallelepiped in shape.

11 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 10 , wherein the base block is substantially ellipsoidal disc in shape.

12 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , further comprising an enwrapping cover having an outer surface configured to enwrap the base block, and wherein the first and second scrubbing pattern portions are provided on the outer surface of the enwrapping cover.

13 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 12 , wherein the enwrapping cover comprises a slit configured to be fastened or unfastened such that the base block is pushed in or pulled out through the slit.

14 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the second pattern portions are made of fabric.

15 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the fabric comprises a plurality of loops and files.

16 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 1 , wherein the first and second scrubbing pattern portions are extended further to at least part of the side surfaces of the base block.

       17 . A microfiber scrubbing sponge comprising:
a block of sponge having a top surface, a bottom surface, and side surfaces; an enwrapping cover configured to enwrap the block of sponge, the enwrapping cover having an outer surface; a plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions provided on a plurality of first portions of the outer surface of the enwrapping cover, wherein each of the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions comprises a plurality of microfibers which are configured to scrub with higher friction in a first direction rather than a second direction; and a plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions provided on a plurality of second portions of the outer surface of the enwrapping cover, wherein the plurality of first scrubbing pattern portions and the plurality of second scrubbing pattern portions are disposed alternatingly.

18 . The microfiber scrubbing sponge of claim 17 , wherein the first and second scrubbing pattern portions cover portions of the outer surface of the enwrapping cover which corresponds to the top surface and at least part of the side surfaces of the block of sponge.
