Slider end stop for reclosable plastic bag and reclosable plastic bag having the same
Abstract
The present invention provides a reclosable plastic bag including: a first film and a second film of which both sides and lower sides adhere to each other and the combined upper side is open; a zipper including a first zipper and a second zipper that are provided on the insides of the upper sides of the first film and second film and engaged with each other; a slider engaging the first zipper with the second zipper, sliding on the zipper; and end stops of which both ends are formed in flange shapes and that each have a through-hole at the center to prevent the slider from separating from the ends of the zipper by being fitted in insertion holes formed through the first film and the second film.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A reclosable plastic bag comprising:
a first film and a second film defining a first side, a second side, an upper side and a lower side, the first, second, and lower sides being sealed permanently, the upper side configured to be closed or opened; a fastening unit including a first fastener attached to the first film and a second fastener attached to the second film, the first and second fasteners configured to be locked or unlocked; a slider configured to engage and lock the first fastener to the second fastener by sliding over the first and second fasteners; and first and second end stops provided at first and second ends, respectively, of the fastening unit, each end stop having a through-hole.
2 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 1 , wherein the first end stop has a body having the through hole and a flange protruding outward from the body at a first end of the body, the body of the first end stop is inserted into an insertion hole defined at the first end of the fastening unit, wherein a second end of the body is deformed to lock the first end stop to the insertion hole.
3 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 1 , wherein the insertion hole is formed at a corner of the first side and the upper side, a portion of the first and second films proximate to the insertion hole adhering to each other.
4 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 3 , wherein the first and second fasteners having teeth extending along the upper side, the first and second fasteners are zippers having elongated teeth.
5 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 1 , wherein the slider has a first side wall and a second side wall connected to each other and defining an opening, and a first curved portion and a second curved portion defined on insides of the first side wall and the second side wall, respectively.
6 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 5 , wherein a first locking protrusion and a second locking protrusion are formed below the first curved portion and the second curved portion of the first side wall and the second side wall to prevent the slider from being detached upward from the zipper.
7 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 5 , wherein the first side wall or the second side wall, or both, have end stop fitting holes where the end stops are fitted.
8 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 5 , wherein the first side wall or the second side wall, or both, have protrusions for a user to grip.
9 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 1 , further comprising a vacuum valve to release air from the inside of the plastic bag.
10 . The reclosable plastic bag of claim 9 , wherein the vacuum valve includes:
a lower body including a fusion plate attached to the inside of any one of the first film and the second film, and a circular protrusion protruding outward from the fusion plate and exposed outside of the film; a rubber packing disposed inside the lower body and functioning as a valve; and an upper body including a rim fitted on the outside of the circular protrusion, a cover having a cap fitted on the inner circumference of the circular protrusion, and a connecting strap connecting the rim to the cover.
11 . An end stop for a resealable plastic bag having a fastening unit and a slider, the end stop being configured to prevent the slider from separating from a side of the plastic bag, wherein the end stop has a body having a flange and a through-hole.
12 . The end stop of claim 11 , the flange is provided at a first end of the body, wherein a second end of the body is configured to be deformed after the body of the end stop is inserted into an insertion hole of the plastic bag, so that the deformed end defines another flange.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
