Flash Media Reading Devices with Integrated Storage Compartments
Abstract
A memory card interface apparatus including a bay to receive a memory card for accessing data stored on the card, and a separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card. In one embodiment, the cavity includes an aperture providing access to remove a card from the storage cavity. In one embodiment, the cavity includes an element protruding out a side of the storage cavity to retain a card within the storage cavity. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes at least a second separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes at least a third separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card. In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a tower configuration. In one embodiment, the apparatus is configured to attach to a separate add-on configuration, the separate add-on configuration providing storage for additional memory cards. In one embodiment, the apparatus includes at least a third separate storage area configured to store a memory card.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A memory card interface apparatus, comprising:
a bay to receive a memory card for accessing data stored on the card; and a separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card.
2 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the cavity includes an aperture providing access to remove a card from the storage cavity.
3 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the cavity includes an element protruding out a side of the storage cavity to retain a card within the storage cavity.
4 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 3 , further comprising a second separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card.
5 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 3 , further comprising a third separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card.
6 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the apparatus comprises a tower configuration.
7 . The memory card interface apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the apparatus is configured to attach to a separate add-on configuration, the separate add-on configuration providing storage for additional memory cards.
8 . A memory card reading device, comprising:
a bay to receive a memory card for accessing data stored on the card; and a separate storage cavity on an upper half of the device configured to store a memory card.
9 . The memory card reading device of claim 8 , wherein the cavity includes a cutout from which to extract a card from the storage cavity.
10 . The memory card reading device of clam 9 , wherein the cutout is in a form to receive at least one of a set of a finger, a fingernail, and a tool.
11 . The memory card reading device of claim 9 , wherein the cavity further includes a spring loaded bump to retain a card within the storage cavity.
12 . The memory card reading device of claim 9 , further comprising a second separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card.
13 . The memory card reading device of claim 12 , further comprising a third separate storage cavity configured to store a memory card.
14 . The memory card reading device of claim 13 , wherein the device comprises a tower configuration.
15 . The memory card reading device of claim 9 , wherein the device is configured to attach to a separate add-on configuration, the separate add-on configuration providing storage for additional memory cards.
16 . The memory card reading device of claim 9 , further comprising a USB connector.
17 . A housing for a memory card reader, comprising:
a slot to receive a memory card storing data, wherein the data of the memory card is to be accessed by an electronic component of the housing; and a separate storage area configured to store a memory card.
18 . The housing of claim 17 , wherein the separate storage area includes an aperture providing access to remove a card from the storage area.
19 . The housing of claim 18 , wherein the separate storage area includes an element protruding out a side of the storage area to retain a card within the storage area.
20 . The housing of claim 19 , further comprising a second separate storage area configured to store a memory card.
21 . The housing of claim 19 , further comprising a USB connector.Cited by (0)
