Abstract

The present invention is directed to novel polypeptides and to nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides. Also provided herein are vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides of the present invention fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides of the present invention and to methods for producing the polypeptides of the present invention.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A polypeptide comprising an amino acid sequence having at least 90% amino acid sequence identity to a fragment of SEQ ID NO:534 having phospholipase activity.

2 . The polypeptide of claim 1 comprising a fragment of SEQ ID NO:534, wherein the fragment has phospholipase activity.

3 . A method for detecting the presence of tumor in a mammal, said method comprising comparing the level of expression of a polypeptide having at least 95% amino acid sequence identity to a) the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:534 or b) the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO:534 lacking amino acids 1-17, in a test sample of cells taken from said mammal and a control sample, wherein a higher level of expression of said polypeptide in the test sample as compared to the control sample is indicative of the presence of tumor in said mammal.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein said tumor is a lung tumor, colon tumor, or rectal tumor.
