This model can be applied to screen drug, test of treatment and search for diagnostic marker of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), glycogen storage disease, liver dysplasia, fatty liver and other liver disease.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A method for treating or preventing disease caused by aflaoxin B1 (AFB1) in a patient subject comprising administering the patient with an effective amount of Glycine N-methyltransferase (GNMT) or plasmid including GNMT.

2 . The method of claim 1 wherein the disease is hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

3 . The method of claim 1 wherein the treatment or prevention is made by blocking formation of AFB1-DNA adducts.

4 . The method of claim 1 wherein the plasmid is directly administered to the body of the patient.
