Abstract

The present invention has an object to provide a server apparatus capable of accessing a terminal apparatus connected via an IP network to a router from an externally provided terminal apparatus in a simple and firm manner without previously performing complex setting operation. A server apparatus of the present invention is comprised of: a connection information transmitting unit, when specific information of a second terminal apparatus connected via a router to an IP (Internet Protocol) network is received from a first terminal apparatus connected via the IP network to the connection information transmitting unit, which transmits connection information to the first terminal apparatus, the connection information being employed so as to access the second terminal apparatus from the first terminal apparatus; and a relay unit, when the relay unit is accessed from the first terminal apparatus by employing the connection information transmitted by the connection information transmitting unit, which relays the first terminal apparatus to the second terminal apparatus having the specific information.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A server apparatus, comprising:
a connection information transmitting unit which transmits, when specific information of a second terminal apparatus coupled via a router to an IP (Internet Protocol) network is received from a first terminal apparatus coupled via the IP network to the server apparatus, connection information to the first terminal apparatus, the connection information being employed so as to access the second terminal apparatus from the first terminal apparatus; and a relay unit which perform, when the relay unit is accessed from the first terminal apparatus by employing the connection information transmitted by the connection information transmitting unit, a relay operation between the first terminal apparatus and the second terminal apparatus having the specific information.

2 . The server apparatus according to claim 1 wherein, when the server apparatus receives the specific information of the second terminal apparatus from the second terminal apparatus, the relay unit establishes a connection so as to be communicated with the second terminal apparatus.

3 . The server apparatus according to claim 2 wherein the relay unit stores the specific information received from the first terminal apparatus, and identifies the stored specific information with the specific information of the second terminal apparatus received from the second terminal apparatus, and when the stored specific information is made coincident with the received specific information, the relay unit establishes the connection so as to be communicated with the second terminal apparatus.

4 . The server apparatus according to claim 3 wherein the connection information transmitting unit receives user information of the first terminal apparatus with the specific information of the second terminal apparatus, and stores the received user information and specific information; and
when the server apparatus is accessed from the first terminal apparatus by employing the user information with the connection information transmitted by the connection information transmitting unit, the relay unit performs the relay operation through the connection established for the communication.

5 . The server apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the specific information of the second terminal apparatus includes an MAC (Media Access Control) address of the second terminal apparatus.

6 . The server apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the specific information of the second terminal apparatus includes a serial number of the second terminal apparatus.

7 . The server apparatus as claimed in claim 1 wherein the user information of the first terminal apparatus includes an ID (identification) of a user of the first terminal apparatus.

8 . The server apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the user information of the first terminal apparatus includes a password of a user of the first terminal apparatus.

9 . The server apparatus according to claim 1 wherein the connection information includes a URL (Uniform Resource Locator).

       10 . A server apparatus comprising:
a specific information transmitting unit which transmits, when specific information of a second terminal apparatus coupled via a router to an IP (Internet Protocol) network is received from a first terminal apparatus coupled via the IP network to the server apparatus, the received specific information of the second terminal apparatus to an access control server connected via the IP network to the specific information transmitting unit; and a connection information transmitting unit which transmits, when connection information is received from the access control server, the connection information being employed so as to access the second terminal apparatus to the first terminal apparatus, the connection information to the first terminal apparatus; wherein: when the access control server is accessed from the first terminal apparatus by employing the connection information transmitted by the connection information transmitting unit, the access control server performs a relay operation between the first terminal apparatus and the second terminal apparatus having the specific information.

11 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 , further comprising:
a connection unit which establishes, when the server apparatus receives the specific information of the second terminal apparatus from the second terminal apparatus, a connection so as to be communicated with the second terminal apparatus, and instructs the second terminal apparatus to cut off the connection for the communication and to establish another connection to be communicated with the access control server.

12 . The server apparatus according to claim 11 , wherein the connection unit stores the specific information received from the first terminal apparatus, and identifies the stored specific information with the specific information of the second terminal apparatus received from the second terminal apparatus, and when the stored specific information is made coincident with the received specific information, the connection unit establishes the connection so as to be communicated with the second terminal apparatus.

13 . The server apparatus according to claim 12 wherein the specific information transmitting unit receives user information of the first terminal apparatus with the specific information of the second terminal apparatus, and stores the received user information and specific information.

14 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 , wherein the specific information of the second terminal apparatus includes an MAC (Media Access Control) address of the second terminal apparatus.

15 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 wherein the specific information of the second terminal apparatus includes a serial number of the second terminal apparatus.

16 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 wherein the user information of the first terminal apparatus includes an ID (identification) of a user of the first terminal apparatus.

17 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 wherein the user information of the first terminal apparatus includes a password of a user of the first terminal apparatus.

18 . The server apparatus according to claim 10 wherein the connection information includes a URL (Uniform Resource Locator).
