Abstract
Systems and methods of enabling advertisements in a digital home communication terminal according to a recurring schedule are disclosed. One such method comprises receiving and storing an advertisement. The method further comprises associating the stored advertisement with a recurring schedule. The method further comprises presenting the advertisement in accordance with the associated recurring schedule.

receiving and storing an advertisement; associating the stored advertisement with a recurring schedule; and presenting the stored advertisement in accordance with the associated recurring schedule.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the recurring schedule is a weekly schedule.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the recurring schedule is a daily schedule.
4 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
preventing the presentation of the stored advertisement during time periods not included in the associated recurring schedule.
5 . A method of enabling advertisements in a digital home communication terminal according to a recurring schedule, the method comprising:
receiving and storing a plurality of advertisements, each of the advertisements associated with one of a plurality of categories; associating each category with a recurring schedule; and presenting the plurality of stored advertisements in accordance with the corresponding associated recurring schedule.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the recurring schedule is a weekly schedule.
7 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the recurring schedule is a daily schedule.
8 . The method of claim 5 , further comprising:
