Abstract
A method of providing a multimedia content list, and a multimedia apparatus applying the method, the method including: generating the multimedia content list according to viewable multimedia content; receiving a keyword input by the user and related to the multimedia content; and displaying, on the multimedia content list, a first content item of the viewable multimedia content associated with the received keyword and a second content item of the viewable multimedia content that is not associated with the received keyword, the first content item distinguishing from the second content item on the multimedia content list as a result of the received keyword. Accordingly, a user can view multimedia content more conveniently.

exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method of providing a multimedia content list corresponding to multimedia content that is viewable by a user, the method comprising:
generating the multimedia content list including the multimedia content; receiving a keyword input by the user and related to the multimedia content; and displaying, on the multimedia content list, a first content item of the multimedia content associated with the received keyword and a second content item of the multimedia content that is not associated with the received keyword, the first content item distinguishing from the second content item on the multimedia content list as a result of the received keyword.
2 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the displaying of the first content item and the second content item comprises displaying an icon related to the received keyword on the multimedia content list so that the first content item is distinguished from the second content item.
3 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the displaying of the icon comprises displaying the icon so that the icon is connected to an area of the multimedia content list in which the first content item is displayed.
4 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the displaying of the icon comprises displaying the icon so that the icon contacts an area of the multimedia content list in which the first content item is displayed.
5 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the icon related to the received keyword comprises a keyword icon in text form.
6 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the icon related to the received keyword comprises a photographic icon in photographic form.
7 . The method as claimed in claim 2 , wherein a type of the icon related to the keyword is selected by the user.

The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the displaying of the first content item and the second content item comprises displaying the first content item in a first area of the multimedia content list and the second content item in a second area of the multimedia content list, the first area being displayed in a different form than the second area.
9 . The method as claimed in claim 8 , wherein the first area has a first background color and/or a first font style and the second area has a second background color, different than the first background color, and/or a second font style, different than the first font style.
10 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the multimedia content list is an electronic program guide (EPG).
11 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising receiving the multimedia content via one or more digital broadcast channels and the Internet.
12 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the keyword relates to a director, an actor, or a theme, such that the first content item includes the director, the actor, or the theme associated with the keyword.
13 . The method as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the receiving of the keyword comprises receiving an input to automatically record multimedia content associated with the received keyword.
14 . A computer readable recording medium encoded with the method of claim 1 and implemented by a computer.
15 . A multimedia apparatus to display multimedia content, the multimedia apparatus comprising:
an input unit to receive a keyword input by a user and related to the multimedia content; and a controller to generate a multimedia content list and to control the generated multimedia content list to be displayed such that a first content item of the multimedia content associated with the received keyword is distinguishable from a second content item that is not associated with the received keyword, the first content item being distinguishable from the second content item as a result of the received keyword.
16 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the controller displays an icon related to the received keyword on the multimedia content list.
17 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the controller displays the icon so that the icon is connected to an area of the multimedia content list in which the first content item is displayed.
18 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the controller displays the icon so that the icon contacts an area of the multimedia contact list in which the first content item is displayed.
19 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the icon related to the received keyword comprises a keyword icon in text form.
20 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 16 , wherein the icon related to the received keyword comprises a photographic icon in photographic form.
21 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 16 , wherein a type of the icon related to the keyword is selected by the user.

The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the controller displays the first content item in a first area of the multimedia content list and the second content item in a second area of the multimedia content list, the first area having a different display form than the second area.
23 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 22 , wherein the first area has a first background color and/or a first font style and the second area has a second background color, different than the first background color, and/or a second font style, different than the first font style.
24 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the multimedia content list is an electronic program guide (EPG).
25 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , further comprising a broadcast receiving unit to receive the multimedia content via one or more digital broadcast channels and the Internet.
26 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the keyword relates to a director, an actor, or a theme, such that the first content item includes the director, the actor, or the theme associated with the keyword.
27 . The multimedia apparatus as claimed in claim 15 , wherein the input unit receives an input to automatically record multimedia content associated with the received keyword.
28 . A method of displaying a multimedia content list corresponding to multimedia content that is viewable by a user, the method comprising:
receiving a keyword input by the user and related to the multimedia content; and displaying, on the multimedia content list, a first content item of the multimedia content associated with the received keyword and a second content item of the multimedia content that is not associated with the received keyword, the first content item distinguishing from the second content item on the multimedia content list as a result of the received keyword.
29 . The method as claimed in claim 28 , wherein the displaying of the first content item and the second content item comprises displaying an icon related to the received keyword on the multimedia content list so that the first content item is distinguished from the second content item.
30 . The method as claimed in claim 29 , wherein the displaying of the icon comprises displaying the icon so that the icon is connected to an area of the multimedia content list in which the first content item is displayed.
