Network using encoded transmissions and forwarding

Abstract

A first network node may include a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver, a user interface and a controller. The controller may be configured to cause information that is received by the receiver to be delivered to the user interface, if that information is encoded to be delivered to the user interface of the network node. The controller may also be configured to cause information to be transmitted in a format encoded for a first target node by the transmitter, if that information is encoded to be forwarded by the network node. The controller may also be configured to cause information from the user interface to be transmitted in a format encoded for a second target node by the transmitter. Related processes are also disclosed.

1 . A network node comprising:
 a wireless transmitter;   a wireless receiver;   a user interface;   a controller configured to cause:
 information that is received by the receiver:
 to be delivered to the user interface, if that information is encoded to be delivered to the user interface of the network node; 
 to be transmitted in a format encoded for a first target node by the transmitter, if that information is encoded to be forwarded by the network node; and 
 
 information from the user interface to be transmitted in a format encoded for a second target node by the transmitter. 
   
   
   
       2 . A process of operating a network node comprising:
 receiving information at the network node;   delivering the received information to a user interface in the network node when the information is encoded to be delivered to the user interface of the network node;   transmitting the received information in a format encoded for a first target node when the received information is encoded to be forwarded by the network node; and   transmitting information from the user interface in a format encoded for a second   
   
   
       3 . A network node comprising:
 a wireless transmitter   a wireless receiver;   a user interface   means for delivering information received by the receiver to the user interface when the received information is encoded to be delivered to the user interface;   means for delivering the received information to the transmitter in a format encoded for a first target node when the received information is encoded to be forwarded by the network node; and   means for delivering information from the user interface to the transmitter in a format encoded for a second target node.
